[Q] Tampered after unlock - wtf?

dear gents,

I have HOM8 and after unclock sys everything was OK, but when trying to backup Stock ROM (following guide from http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2265618) my phone hang on for 3 hours... so I restarted, flashed recovery and then back up ROM (within 200 sec..). but "tempered" message has been shown (as in attached file) since then.

do you know wtf and how to remove it? :(

That is normal after you flash a custom recovery. Can only be removed if you are s-off, then there is a thread in the General section of these forums on his to do so. It doesn't hurt anything, the tampered message is just an annoyance, but if it bothers you then pursue s-off. Look in the Original development section at the firewater thread for s-off download links and instructions, but not all M8's can achieve s-off at this time.

Thx a lot. Actually I was surprised as previously I had HOX, used few nice custom ROMs and never had this remark.
