Is there any way to reset battery stats manually.

I swapped the battery from my wife's phone into mine. Both had nice (read as similar) life in phones. But after I swapped from my wife's, her battery seems to be draining faster in mine. Mine is good in her's though. So I felt maybe my guage is messed up.

I'm on TMo S5 with custom ROM. She's on AT&T S5 rooted.

Since your phone has been rooted, you can do the following:

- Install Shortcut Master app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.shortcutmaster.lite
- Go to menu 'Secret Code Explorer'.
- Scroll down to the code 02288 (BatteryStatusEng), tap and select 'Launch 0' to launch it. You may need to grant root permission for it.
- Tap the Button 'Quick Start' to reset battery stats.

Headsup:

I reset the guage, and ran a full discharge n full charge cycle. Looks like everything is back on track now.
