[ROM][MIUI] Pikachu Edition 2.Xz *LAST EDITION*

Running this ROM for 3 hours now - Looks fine - No Problems - Wifi, Camera, BT works.
Will check battery life soon!
BTW, whats the purpose of the CAR HOME app? Sorry for noob question
if you have CM7.2 on your phone and a Defy+ you will have a Gingerbread 2.3.4 Kernel, or Froyo ( what I am not expecting ), therefore, just install it through CWM and goog is, no downgrade to Froyo needed.
stable, nightly, whats the difference, there will never be a STABLE Version of Miui, they are all work in progress.

Oh I wasted my time then downgrading to froyo and installing MIUI 
anyway the ROM is awesome! thanks for your work!
But why is it shown MB525 in system info? I'm sure I selected Defy+ in the aroma installer wizard. Or does it show the same for Both defy and defy+ ??
ps - battery jumped from 70 to 40 .. im not sure if that is a problem with my battery or because my phone was charged upto 90% before installing MIUI and then when it booted up, it showed 100%
In other threads, people reported that battery charges to 100% only the first time, after that it gets stuck at 90%

same here battery dropped from 65 to 50
Well, I must say I've got problems with the battery, too... First time it charged to 100%, but second time it stopped at 90%. I'm guessing that Froyo doesn't really like DEFY+, so I'll test if it's any better with 2.3.4 one of the next days!

The latest miui germany's english translate is buggy, please check it Tweety before releasing your rom.
it shows MB525 but it has Fingerprint of MB526, therefore, not disadvantages. The Defy+ changes only the battd to support the Defy+ Battery, not more. Next time I could also change Model Number, but anyway who cares.

yeah already ready, also in 3 languages. The port from my Pikachu Edition to White Rabbit Edition is easy. Some other features and options, but pretty similar. The only difference CM7 : MIUI and on CM7 you have to do some stuff manually. You have to activate for example the NewMIUI Theme by yourself, but I am always writing it on my Blog. Thinking of adding it also to XDA Developers.
right now Pikachu Edition is nearly 8 months old and continously in development and White Rabbit is only 1-1,5 months old, but White Rabbit downloads exploded compare to MIUI Pikachu Edition. I think it is because CM7 has some really cool features that MIUI is missing and speed + battery life are way better.

I tried the white rabbit last night and I liked it, as you say it has some more "manual" work but CM7 is just great.
Now I'm on pikachu and no problems so far, love the miui apps. Will they be usable in white rabbit? Asking because they released the source code some weeks ago.

some apps will be usable, but not all, because not all work. Gallery is still pretty buggy and extrem slow, File Manager is ok, but there is no translation and there are so many strings, therefore NO.
some other apps like Compass, Recorder, Kamera will be in it. Notes doesn't work.
White Rabbit should not be a complete replace for Miui, I am only including some Apps which I really liked and my Users liked. It is a MIXTURE of the best of CM7, with a little bit of ICS and a little bit of Miui. For me GoLauncher is the best Launcher EVER.

. I'm not a total MIUI fan, using pikachu with other launcher, I need app drawer!, but the miui apps are great.
Can I replace the battd from cyanogen? that charges the battery to 100%

Hi, this is my last Miui Pikachu Edition. As the Defy gets right now CM10 and more Features are added or Bugs are fixed, it is only a question of time when everybody will be on CM10. Still it has to grow and proof its daily usage, but it is on a good way to get it done in a couple of weeks.
Still my girlfriend ( which owns the Defy ) doesn't like CM10 at all. She will stay with MIUI V2 for the rest of the Defy live ( maybe until I develop a good Miui V4 Version ) and I thought to make a final FIX Version. This Version added some new features, fixed old ones and have been tested with 4 Versions. This time everything should work perfectly, but as we know this are custom roms, there can be always some problems.
I will still provide SUPPORT and if something has to be fixed it will be.

Really Easy!!! just boot into CWM and click on install zip -> choose zip and everything will be explained during the installation. My last version was also made with AROMA Installer, but this time I included more stuff in it. Don't be afraid AROMA Installer is set up in 3 languages; German, English and Spanish.
IMPORANT!!! this Rom works only on Defy or Defy+ with Froyo Kernel or Gingerbread 2.3.4/5 Kernel. All with 2.3.6 Kernel can try to downgrade to Froyo Kernel, because the new Motorola Kernel won't work with MIUI. Just use this Tutorial on XDA Developers

6@Cacceli : happy that you got it work. The first 2 POPUPS are only to protect Users of Defy+ with new 2.3.6 Kernels to flash it, because it won't boot. This Users need special Roms and MIUI isn't working with 2.3.6 Kernel,,
@ashwanikoul : if you mean the original MIUI, every week on friday. If you mean a PikachuEdition based on this week MIUI, never. There are no improvements, only one FIX, no need to change anything. For MIUI 4.0,,, you see how Wajk is proceeding, really slow, because there are great developments in MIUI 4.0 right now, but this is still not stable and for daily use, the same with CM9. So it will take at least 2-3 months, I expecting.
Right now, if I find time, because my newborn son is a really screamer, I will update my LauncherPro and GoLauncher Theme with 45 new Icons and after that a complete redesign of aroma-config for WhiteRabbitEdition will start. Therefore, expect an Update for Pikachu in about 1 Month.6too tired, just translate
EDIT::: the NEW WhiteRabbit Edition 1.3 is ONLINE. Firstly only in the BLOG, because I am still waiting for somebody to teste my 2.3.6 Kernel Version. As all users with 2.3.6 Kernels can't really install any other Roms and I don't have a Defy+ to test it. Therefore, the current Version is only for Users with Defy or Defy+ with Froyo or Gingerbread until 2.3.4/2.3.5 Kernel.
I will translate later one the Tutorial in English and make an own Forum Post. For now you have only to know::
For the perfect WhiteRabbit Edition Feeling
1. choose the MIUI Style
2. choose NewMIUI as a Theme in GoLauncher
3. Milocker is the perfect Lockscreen alternative
4. Exdialer the best Dialer, even better than in MIUI
5. and choose ICONS in Golauncher to be big

Hi, the new Pikachu Edition 2.4.20 is ONLINE. It includes a lot of new features, the new Base ( but haven't changed much ), everything is up-to-date, SuperCharger works now ( last PE Version had a bug with it ), a new Updater App and many more.

P.S. be patient about the Updater App, it doesn't fully work right now. I contacted the developer, because the App works perfect with my CM7 Roms, Miui has some problem. I will fix it, but it is something that has to be fixed on my Server, not in the Rom.5still the ROM is in progress, no need to rush the UPDATE on 2.4.20 came on Friday and today is Sunday. As you also see is that there aren't any changes in the Changelog from Miui in this Version, this is the reason why the German Community stopped at 2.4.6, because no progress anymore. Anyway, the new Version will be based on 2.4.20
finished the biggest part with Aroma, Configs, Tweaks, and Mods, what is left is to add all strings to all apps and framework-res.apk, so I hope to be ready with the first test on Monday evening.
