Does the "vibration" (i call it this cuz i dont know the technical term lol) work when pressing the back/menu/search/home buttons? mine arent working...dont know if this is normal cuz i know on some roms it does.
Check to see if haptic feedback is on in the sound settings, if it's not checked check it . Hoped this helps.

I've just confirmed 4g wifi tether works with a 3rd party app:
http://code.google.com/p/android-wi...etail?name=wifi_tether_v3_3-pre2.apk&can=2&q=
native wifi tether may not support 4g, but this app does
I agree with you to a point. However there are a few things that are different between all these if you read the op's. Rasbean has a theme built strictly 4 it. Hint hint. Maybe someone could add a cool theme 4 one of these others to add flavor. But I don't know who could do this.

This screenshot doesn't show 4g tether working... Every ROM I've tried shows this too... The part that doesn't work is there aren't any devices that pick up on this signal... See if u have another phone, tablet or laptop that will find the signal you're sending out...
And not to take anything away from the work that went into this ROM... But do we really need 4 essentially stock AOSP ROMs? Bland Android, Rasbean, Green blue, and now this... They're all essentially the same... I like seeing new ROMs just like anyone else... But this can be confusing to people... I think it would be better to work together with other devs to update existing ROMs than to come out with the same thing...

Okay, I've gone over all the comments in the thread, but I just want some clarification. MMS (picture messages) are working on this, correct?
Also, does this use the new file structure for 4.2? Namely shifting things around on the "sdcard" to the 0 folder? Like on the Nexus 7 and all the other devices officially on 4.2. Just asking because backups and whatnot have been hell on my Nexus 7. They don't appear anywhere, but they are there and you can restore/backup properly. Kind of weird and a hassle but I can live with it. Just wondering if I'll have the same issues on here arising from that.
I noticed someone posted a link to a fix for the phone bug. Are u gonna be able to add that fix in build 2? Also can we flash build 2 over 1? I'm liking this rom and haven't really had any issues besides the phone bug. Thanks to everyone involved in making this rom possible for our NS4G!!!
idk how I got here...
Noticed a little strangeness. Full wipe and installed new version. Reinstalled all my apps. There is no email app or corporate option in the accounts section under settings. Also I only have the option to choose from 4 apps on the lock screen widgets. Was more in the last build.

Anyone got a mirror for build 2? Maybe Dropbox? The link keeps failing for me.

for the toggles, you can edit them any way you'd like...there's an app in the drawer titled 'notification toggle' you can use for the notification shade toggle, and one titled 'quick settings' to edit the ones like you see in vanilla aosp 4.2 this gives you the best of both worlds, I think. there are toggles right in plain sight for regular every day tasks and custom app shortcuts, and then there are more behind the quick settings menu for other tasks you may not perform quite so often. Both menus can be totally customized
