hey
im working on a custom rom fore the thl w8
1:how big is the intersting fore a custom rom
2:anybody wants to help
3:it will be themed
4:new launcher 360
5:will be updated to 4.2 wen it comes out

Can you please include default launcher too ? Otherwise I always had problems with restoring my data.

In cooking I´m not experienced an ddon´t know any programming language, but if needed I can help testing.

PS: do you have 8P32 or 8P64 ? Mine is 8P32

now it is booting up
have made some theming an seems to be working fine
new launcher works fine to
now i need to make it install other apps into data/app
working on that right now so lets see how it turns out

do you know how to decrease the response time?
my W8 has bad response time while playing Temple Run game.

also it take 1-2 seconds to turn on the screen when pressing the power button after phone was sleeping.

can you make the notification bar open while we at the lock screen?


would be more than happy to test your rom.

things that could be better :
- microphone level when not using 3G network (people say they can't ear clearly my voice when I'm not under 3G network)
- changing the ThL UI could be nice too

Another tip: increase audio level with other types of headphones or earphones.. And fix change data and hour that crash when you push it

it's already done :

DateTimeSettings_update.zip allows to solve this issue (install it through CWM).

I've ordered the thl w8 and would be glad to have a custom rom with all those tweaks and overall great looking.

I don't have much time but I do know some programming if you need help...

Like others have said already- would be nice to have the option for a stock Android looking for those who are used to it.

Sorry for any spell mistakes, English isn't my main language plus I'm using auto correct in my phone keyboard.
