I would be surprised that both of ours 'corrupted' in the exact same manor. Sounds like a flaw somewhere. Thanks for the RUU link, guess I will try again another day!

Usually it's from a bad unrevoked flash but there are sometimes it seems to be random though.

It varies depending on how your phone is set up. All of them will be in the root directory of your sd card though.

Look for URFSOff.zip (Unrevoked Forever S-OFF) URFSOn.zip (Unrevoked Forever S-ON - I would keep in case you need to unroot) and mtd-eng.img. If you had to flash the PC36IMG manually you will also have PC36IMG_UD.zip, which is pretty big, and newkernel.zip.

Your nandroids can be found on your sd card under nandroid/?????/(nandroidfolders). They are huge so if you need space you may want to copy them to your desktop.

Well everyone, don't say I never did anything for the community. I had to rewrite the exploit to get it working normally again on the new software.

I should have an updated version up in a few hours.

I am new to rooting. I used this version to root my evo so that I could use WiFi tether. Thanks very much for the very simple process! Ironically, now my phone has an extremely slow 3g connection compared to where it was before rooting. I don't have any speed test numbers, but just know it takes like 45 seconds to a minute to load this forum page now. Any ideas on how this rooting method could have negatively affected my 3g speed? Thanks for your help.

I just get stuck at "*This will take a few moments, please do not disturb this window or your phone until it finishes..."

Not sure what to do from there.. Tried running the autoroot.bat as administrator

Got 0004 hardware and Hboot 2.02
