Phoenix Web Wallpaper

I really dig the look of dfuse06's Phoenix Web icon. I added a black background and use it as my wallpaper. Very simple & doesn't use as much battery with all the black.
I figure if I like it someone else might too :)

See attached or browse here: http://copronymous.com/images/PhoenixWall.jpg

noob question .. how do I change the bootanimation? flash it ?

Most of them you need to do is sure your new one is named "bootanimation".

Get Root Explorer, it's a few bucks and will get you into all of the root files and folders(which is where you need to go)
Go to "system/media" and re-name the stock bootanimation.apk to bootanimationbak.apk, then copy/paste your new one into system/media, reboot and your good to go

Really wanted to see this in other colors and I feel it really works. Here are recolored bootimage.zip (small/widescreen) files as well as backgrounds. Made by swapping RGB values around. Thanks to drakonite for helping me batch convert the large number of images, NunHugger for making such a sweet intro, and the rest.

Edit: Also note that my package is not wrapped the same way as NunHugger's - the zip you chose will need renamed to bootanimation.zip and flashed manually using adb push or some other method. Now I just need to figure out how to change the first Phoenix image.

The image carousel is only a preview. If you set those images as wallpaper, they will be blurred.
Make sure you click on the wallpaper you like, it will show you just the wallpaper in full res. Use that as your wallpaper.

First off I love the theme! Very slick. Unfortunately I have put way to much work into porting the old theme over to convert at this time. Would it be ok if I grabbed the Status_bar_close? I love the look.

    [theme] dark fire 5.1.2

Alright guys, here we go. This is Dark Fire 5.1.2 for Phoenix, Firefly, and Super Nova. All supported with the same zip. This includes all JS5 builds. Fusion port is now available!

THIS IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH FUSION!! A port for Fusion is in the works, but it has proven to be a huge pain in the ass and I didn't want to delay the launch any longer.

As always, backup everything before flashing, just in case. Download the .zip, put it on your internal sd card, and flash through clockworkmod.

I recommend backing up your Launcher Pro settings and/or homescreen setup and uninstalling Launcher Pro before flashing this. After flash, just restore the settings and you'll be good to go. If you don't use Launcher Pro, don't worry about it.

    Credits:
    -Dfuse! The originator
-Big thanks to Reefermattness, Zelendel, and tsachi for some help with the resources.arsc file
    -Xtreme and Nun for wallpapers
    -Adam for the amazing roms
    -00.ante for the themed market
-signals23 for the themed launcher pro widgets
    -Nunhugger for the new swype
-Zelendel for discovering widget chooser fix

    Dark Fire 5.1.2 Changelog

-Updated Settings.apk, SettingsProvider.apk, and Services.jar file for "Hide AM/PM" and "Hide Clock" options in the Settings Menu
-Updated themed launcher pro to 0.8.4.1
-If you have LP 0.8.4.1 from the market, backup all of your LP settings and homescreens, uninstall the market version, and then flash Dark Fire 5.1.2. If you're running previous versions of Dark Fire: backup all of your LP settings, remove the old themed LP using Titanium Backup, reboot the phone, and then flash Dark Fire 5.1.2

    Dark Fire 5.1.1 Changelog

-Fixed black on black text issues in the font chooser pop-up window
-Fixed black on black text issues in the contacts.apk

    Dark Fire 5.1 Changelog

-Fixed black on black text in the widget chooser popup window- Thanks Zel!
-Updated working swype (re-themed)- Thanks Nun!
-Replaced "No Notifications", "Ongoing", "Notifications" text in pull-down window
    -New Phoenix Ultimate Dialer (re-themed)
-New Phoenix Ultimate Phone.apk for call recording feature
-New Phoenix Ultimate Settings.apk for stay awake while charging feature
-New Phoenix Ultimate Orb Unlock screen (re-themed- replaces puzzle lock screen- in settings it will still say puzzle unlock, just like with the stock Phoenix U rom.)
    -Other framework enhancements
    -Themed tv off shutdown animation
    -Updated screenshots below

    Features-

    -Red system text (select areas)
(NOTE: There is one issue with the new red text effect- for some reason the widget select popup window and font select popup window are black on black text and background. I busted my ass to try and track this down, but no luck. It makes no sense, since all the other popup windows are fine. If you touch the individual items in the list, you can see the text. The widget icons make that window easy enough to navigate, and really, how often do you switch fonts?) FIXED!
-All done up in red- all the usual framework refinements
-New default wallpaper- of all the wallpapers I have made, this is my personal favorite
-00.ante's Themed market v2.3.4 with my own tweaks- most recent market
    -Themed Launcher Pro
-Signals23 themed launcher pro widgets (Launcher Pro Plus only, of course)
To activate, long press on screen, choose launcher pro widget, select one, and enter your product unlock key when prompted)
    -Themed Android Launcher
-Themed Gmail- 2.3.4.1 most recent version
    -Themed Email
-Themed Settings and Power Control widget
-5 lock screen mod- All COMPLETELY themed (5th is rotary lock)
    -New Notification Pulldown

This thread is specifically designed for the collection, design and modification of Wallpapers, bootanimations, Themes, boot screens, and other creative designs for modifying the base Phoenix ROM by adamholden85 and Firefly ROM originally by adamholden85 and now continued by xtremekilla09 .

I've spoken with adam about this thread, as we did for the previous ROM he worked on and felt it would be best served to have a separate thread designed in order to keep the ROM thread clear.

As in the ROM thread, flaming is NOT allowed. As my daddy use to say, if ya aint got something good to say; don't say it(Ok, so I paraphrased a little)

Please feel free to contribute to this thread, it just makes our devices that much better.
    Also it's very important,
please specify which ROM your contribution works with and which rev. i.e Phoenix 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 +++ or Firefly 1.0, 1.5 +++etc.....

It's very important and will eliminate huge problems and questions

Ok guys here are the first dialers, not perfect as I am still working on the incall screen buttons (when pressed they are still green). Let me say that if you are using a theme other then the default the top buttons may not match as those files are kept in other places. I will get more colors out as I can. If you want anything let me know.
