im a new owner of nexus one and i just rooted my phone.. i want to flash cyanogen rom but i guess i need to have amon ra's recovery.. just a noob question.. what do you mean by this? Make sure that init.rc isn't calling any install-recovery.sh script, otherwise you'll boot back to stock recovery (exclamation mark with a little Android).
im on 2.2.1 and want to have the amon ra recovery but im stuck with that.. what should i do?

Just ignore it and flash CM.
CM doesn't have the install-recovery.sh script so you don't need to worry about it.

updated to v2.2.1
Change-log :

v2.2.1
  • Nandroid backup is now selective, boot/system/cache/data are selected by default.
  • Nandroid checks if there's at least 500MB free on SDcard before starting a backup.
  • Added/updated error/warning messages.

@amon_ra thanks for the update, gonna try it now! Error message update is also a good thing...people were stuck with "run nandroid.sh from computer" or so when they had low battery xD
