1 click root!
Do you have a download of "1 click root" that is compatible for the Huawei Ascend! If so could you send me a link?

Thank you!

Didn't work for Droid.
If this is the case for you then find SuperOneClick and try it. Worked for me first time and has been stable for more than a week. Working with Android version2.2.1, build number FRG83D. Good luck.

root HTC wildfire
I tried to root my HTC wildfire phone but it was unsuccessful. I used my Linux and the program Unrevoked which your site recommended for my phone. The program did communicate with my mobile, it installed something and it did reboot my device. However after the reboot it replied with a message that it failed to start a service. I use the AVG anti-virus in my phone. Is this the reason, why it couldn't start the service? It seemed that my anti-virus didn't do anything about the Unrevocked but I don't know. Should I uninstall my anti-virus before I run again the Unrevoked?

Thanks for your help.
