SIM is locked on flash?
Not sure what went wrong but this ROM flashed to a desktop, then demanded a reset to configure (telling me that it didn't recognise the SIM on my unlocked Hermes, which is understandable if I am using TMob but haven't told it so yet). It then started properly and went into auto-configure and demanded a soft reset again when it had finished
THEN when I had reset it again, it went straight into a SIM Unlock screen and demanded a code?, saying that the network is locked? (I have never locked anything on this 8525 before before)
I think the whole unit is now stuck on the network locked screen
Is there a default code to unlock please or should I just get back to a bootloader screen and try to re-flash and HOPE this doesn't happen again?

And I should add that it now boots to a NO GSM message on hard reset
I was watching carefully and it initially gave me a whole set of complex looking numbers where the NO GSM is now on boot up so I cant understand how it has suddenly become NO GSM?

you can be CID and SIM unlocked but not unlocked enough when the newer ROMS Lock up your device again!
I had v 3a. Apparently you need unlock v7 to really unlock so's you (hopefully) don't get NO GSM and/or the SIMunLOCK screen

i flashed the rom and it's great, but the only problem is that the phone keeps on flashing a yellow light as if i had a missed called or a text message. the only solution to stop it, is to turn off the phone signal. anybody else had this problem? and how can i fix it?

Hi I have tried a few roms from this site and this one is great!
Some problems I am having:
I cannot get 3G working IE no data connections.
The bar at the top seems to come down even when only pressing near it instead of right on top.
Since upgrading the radio everything got real slow. Do I need to use the orange radio as I am orange? Its only 1.38 but the lates is like 1.58 or something....

Is there a way to switch the keyboard layout to cingular because my keys don't line up.
Also is there a way to remove the weather ap?
I need to find the comm manager with the full range of options including turning off 3g as well as data etc. The one that comes with it only does 3 things.
I also need to find the led flashlight ap
text messaging thing where it groups them all so you can view entire convo with someone like my old crc rom
and last I can't connect to my att internet for some reason
If anyone can help with any of these items I would greatly appreciate it.

I am guessing it is titaniumweather.exe and titaniumweather.mscr and titaniumweatheroptions.mscr that I have to delete right? but it says you cannot delete them for some reason.

I am having an issue though. Randomly instead of a ringtone, or text tone, or sometimes during a call static is blared out of the speakersphone super loud... what is causing this and how do I fix it? I have reset it multiple times.

of course, because there are some files from the weather application is still in use in the development of Windows loading process
you should try to see on Windows-Startup perhaps still have a file of weather applications
delete if it is still there

I still have a major issue about this rom. It is very fast and reliable, but sometimes when I make a call the microphone is mute. If I soft-reset the device, mic is normal again.
The problem occurs every time the device goes to suspend mode. This happens, by default, every 1 minute when the phone is not connected to the wall charger (or active sync usb). Any call I make after that is on mute, nobody can hear me.
If I soft-reset the device, everything goes back to normal until the phone goes to suspend again.
I tested that for a whole day. If I set the device to never turn off, mic is always ok. If I press power to force the device to suspend, the problem appears.
Does anybody have any idea on how to fix that?1
I don't think so, this thread is about installing a clicking sound, nothing about microphone.
I installed the cab, just to see what is going to happen...
Anyway, I found a strange workaround. If my device goes to sleep mode, when it wakes up I press the voice command on the left of the phone and I don't have any mute problem. Strange...
