One more question for someone to help me with. I live in China and have my phone language set UK English. I have the UK English Svox TTS installed, but the guided navigation voice can not speak the street names so during navigation I hear " in 200m turn left on to ________". I assume this is due to the Chinese street names but I had hoped to be able to get Pin Yin pronunciations spoken. Anyone know if it is possible?

I'm using Ownwhere's 5.1 maps version.

Sent with Desire.

Normal Navigation is enabled in my country, but I want the patched version to force-enable vector maps.
But if I use the Chinese patched version, I can't use navigation.
Any chance someone can create a version with only vector-maps and 3D forced, but no changes on the navigation?

sigh... gingerbread 2.3.3 update killed the use of Brut17, now it just force closes when Brut navigation is launched... and the native Google Maps is 5.1.0! No way to uninstall updates to make Brut navigation works.

Anyone has a solution?

Try the ownhere 5.1.0 version?

Tried on Gingervillian, works on 2.3.2, not sure about 2.3.3

On the other hand, official Gmaps 5.2.0 released.

ownhere's mod of 5.2.0 is already online, but I can't download it from that chinese forum. It seems I don't have enough "forum currency" to be able to download...

Can anyone else find that version and publish here?
