try removing some apps you really dont need or ever use... that's what i do and that's what usually frees up some memory as well as makes my phone a little faster. good luck.

I flashed the new theme and for some reason everything flashed except I lost my cos settings and under about phone it has system updates now. Not sure what happened.

I made theme last night on my phone... Will remake tonight on computer I normally make it on sorry
It is the HCUL 4/7/11 update. I wiped/reflashed everything twice to confirm, and it removes the ROM version on Phone status as well as the COS Settings from Settings.
NAUGHTY!
Back to black-n-white COS 4/7, for now, until ThbDude fixes this.

Wow, cus I didn't realize you were asking for help. I had assumed you were good on your own and just posting an FYI kind of thing. :shrug:
Anywhoo, I can't help. It does look like a low memory issue, or perhaps an issue with graphics, but I've never had that issue (or at least not long enough that I noticed it). If you can duplicate the issue with relative success, try doing a logcat capture through ADB to a file on the drive and unplug the phone or CTL-C right when it happens. That way it will be at the end of the file. (I assume you do logcat via ADB anyway, but I do know there are apps on the Market just for getting logs). Other than that, I don't know of a way to get timestamps or such into the logs... HIH somehow...
Try the app, Error Log Dump. Works good!

I apologize about my 04072011 theme. I pulled a pebcac error. My wife has my computer and my dumb ass mixed up framework-res with another ROM's... Anyway theme is fixed. Its not signed because she still has my computer, will sign later. I tested on my G1

Ok i need help! When i try to flash ThdDude theme its giving me an error: E:wrong digest:app/SystemUI.apk E:verification failed. Any clue on what am i doing wrong? I have flashed the theme before with no issues. But hey, maybe im doing something wrong :O
I already asked Roalex. Seems he won't do it since he likes the lockscreen from his framework. Argh!
As long as ThbDude just keeps up with the HCUL flashable, it is a minor hassle. (Today excepted, of course. <grin>

More the reason to use Clockworkmod. I've tried RA recovery and I don't like it personally. I only use it for partitioning sd card, the go straight back to Clockworkmod. Sorry to get off topic.

But i have a small problem with all your roms. My phone is a magic 32b so i have a virtual keyboard. Fromt times to times, when i use it for gmail , sms or browser, the keyborad disapears and it comes back...when he want
Anyone else with this issue ? Any solution ?
I look for a logcat but there is no information about that. Probably because it's not a crash of the keyboard but it just left the screen. And sometimes it's impossible to write something because the keyboard disapears at each letter.

Yes, like any other rom. If you have issues give more info though! Should have no problem with a G1, flash the rom, and get the recovery.log (adb pull /tmp/recovery.log recovery.txt) and upload it here.

HTC has not given us a change log.. so we don't have one.
Of course most of your answers are in the 2708+ thread:
1.33.2005 is btw an unmodified engineering SPL (ie. has full fastboot access).. originally launched on the sapphire but also since tested on the dream; and used for the larger /system size.. it really matches the default layout of rogers dreams so its and most 1.33.* SPLs work on both devices. (not always with an optimal partition layout)
Somewhere HTC has a 1.33.2013 SPL that is the same as 1.33.0013 with the same full fastboot access. But it has not been leaked to us.. If we had that one (and not the 1.33.2005 Crios re-named) we could successfully boot the 2708+ kernels and keep the fastboot commands.. Unfortunately with the fake 1.33.2013 on most google results we may never find the real one if its not posted front and center.
Currently you have a choice on the dream:
1) use 1.33.2005 and not be able to boot 2708+ kernels thus loose the extra ram
2) use 1.33.0013 and have a small /system and /data and no fastboot but 2708+ kernels will boot.
3) use 1.33.0013d and have a slightly larger /system + /data partition than 1.33.2005 gives + some fastboot access + 2708+ kernels.
For dream users this simplifies to keep 1.33.2005 on the older radios.. or install the newer radios with 1.33.0013d. most froyo+ roms are too large to fit on the unmodified 1.33.0013 and its harder to fix your phone if something goes wrong.
(and yes 2.22.27.08 and 2.22.28.25 both work with the 1.33.0013d SPL.. no change log exists.. these are unmodifed for HTC.. but 2.22.28.25 is on the latest version of all froyo 2.2 magic OTAs world wide.. 2.22.27.08 was only on an older version of the TMUS 2.2 MT3G ota. Most have also found better battery with 2.22.28.25)
