Short answer, yes.
Slightly longer answer, it is installed to microSD only; it isn't an app...

I would like to try this.

Am I right in assuming as this is installed on the SD card, that every time I boot the phone that it starts in WinMo, then I have to run Android each time?? Or does it boot in Android every time after install??

If it's the later, how can I switch back to WinMo/HTC Touchflo if I need to??

Many thanks

The Android files are installed on the SD Card and you should run the HARET app from WinMo that will kick out the WinMo process and will boot Android. When you power off the phone and turn it on again the WinMo will boot. If you want to run Android again you need to start HARET again.

The internal phone memory is not touched by the Android.

Does it matter what (winmo) ROM you use for the android speed. For example: does android go smoother on a stock rom instead of an energy rom?

Nope! Depends from the combo: kernel, rootfs and release.
