    • added reboot into FASTBOOT mode
  2. reboot into fastboot option would only work if u have device connected to PC via USB (with fastboot drivers installed) else device will just reboot ;)

Sorry but it's still not working on my Arc. When I choose "reboot into recovery", it restarts again but nothing, just "Sony Ericsson" in the screen.
P/s: I cannot use the clockwork recovery mode on my Arc. Anyone can show me the way that help me to access to CWM?

dude the "reboot into recovery" will work only if u have working recovery ;)

check the Dev section to get working recovery...

    • MAJOR release
    • UNIFIED VERSION FOR ALL XPERIA ANDROIDS! (XPERIA 2010 & 2011 LINEUP)
    • added device detection
    • some reboot options are device specific so depending on your device model u will see those specific ones
    • replaced "touch" command with "busybox touch"
    • added About App screen
    • added content to Help screen
    • added reboot into fastboot mode (for Arc/Play/Neo ONLY)
    • removed onSelect TOAST commands
    • removed "confirm on exit" message
  2. Please uninstall older versions of this app before installing this one

since there is no feedback yet, here is some :

version : XperiaRebootOptions_v1.3.0.apk

phone : Xperia ARC

everything working fine, but only after deleting older version and after that install latest version.
It wil not replace an earlyer version but get mixed up, android sees only one app and the app does not detect my device.

are u sure u selected the proper Device Model (in the device detected screen)?

also if u have selected that...

then connect ur phone to pc and execute the command via adb shell:

adb reboot recovery

that should get ur phone into recovery... it it doesnt then u dont have the correct working recovery...

Yes, I could boot into recovery mode by fastboot but what I want is reboot into recovery mode without connecting my phone and going through fastboot mode, bcoz the software have that option, but when i choose that, it's defective, only reboot without entering into recovery mode.

dude u need to have full working recovery in ur kernel (boot.img) not the temporary recovery loaded by fastboot....

Please don't take it as criticism but do you think you could come up with a different icon for this app? I think this app is great but I do feel that its icon could be better.

    firstly i would like to thank Bin4ry & Androxyde for the FlashTool and the option to "reboot into xrecovery from flashtool" as this APP is based on that..

    and to my good friend MrHassell for doing the xcharge base coding, teaching & guiding me to develop android apps....

    thanks to everyone who has done the testing and provided invaluable feedback/comments


    we are finally ready with a new version and its directly released to market!!!



    new features include:
    1. cleaner layout
    2. new UI
    3. working themes!
    4. and u will be entitled to future upgrades :D
