Concerning sensors.. (I hope I can write this in this thread):
I noticed that every time I "use" Android on my Wave, and after I return to Bada.. Bada shows me that the battery is completely discharged. Since it has appened to me several time, I'm asking: every time was a sort of "coincidence" or really Android from his esternal SD manage to modify what Bada see after him? Will the definitive port have similar problem or someone of you have already fix it in one of his kernel?
Thanks in advance.

Your firmware aren't supported, you have to use boot files for unsuported firmwares.

REad this thread http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1118436

I think the problem is not boot files, but apps_compressed.bin
The link contains S8500XXJH2 bootloader that is supported by FOTA, but apps_compressed need to have the right header for the bootloader to run FOTA. It has been already described several times. You can try to use the small application I crafted (link). Flashing modified apps_compressed may not possible on new bootloaders, though.

I have the same problem, and no solution has been found yet :(

@all commiters:
I've deleted/deprecated all downloads I was sure about these won't be needed. Just ain't sure about all zImages and initramfs, I'm not staying tuned with tuts etc, so please take a look there and delete or deprecate unneeded files (I'll permanently remove most of deprecated ones with next maintenance, excluding the "milestones")

some progress

Two things:

- some progress with CM7: I was able to boot it into clockworkmod recovery but no normal boot. I'll test it later (end of next week)

- the camera keycode is 3(half pressed) and 8 (fully pressed) you can use them in s3c-keypad.kl

Seee you in a week!

ok, i've made my moviNAND loopback kernel(using olegs kernel sources) , filesystem and scripts for autoconfig of loopback images available on googlecode, needs mijoma's recovery capable fota to run the scripts:

http://code.google.com/p/badadroid/...moviNANDloopback100711v2(public).zip&can=2&q=

http://code.google.com/p/badadroid/...viNANDLoopback100711v1public.zip.001&can=2&q=

http://code.google.com/p/badadroid/...viNANDLoopback100711v1public.zip.002&can=2&q=

this is the recovery capable fota by mijoma, currently has same bootloader version limitations as that used in shadow's tutorial.
http://code.google.com/p/badadroid/downloads/detail?name=bl_univ_boot100711_recov.zip&can=2&q=

EDIT: redid zImage slightly, removing old link.

EDIT2: please avoid creating posts asking about the build, joining IRC to discuss is preferred.

EDIT3: ignore errors that appear during recovery boot - they are inconsequentual to our android install, the script currently cannot write messages to the display and if its done right it will REBOOT/SHUTDOWN the phone on it's own after 2-5 minutes. If it doesn't reboot itself then once again check you put the "mkext2images.sh" script in the correct location:
http://s579.photobucket.com/albums/ss238/nbates66/?action=view&current=scriptsexample.png the script will delete itself after it runs, once this is done you simply boot android normally

once again, do not create posts regarding this build please.
