I have integrated cwm with the oneclickroot script and zipped it all up here:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12704578/sk4...eclickroot.zip

to use:
1. Enable Debugging on your phone (Settings>Applications>development>USB Debugging)
2. unzip the .zip file above on your computer
3. double click on the run.bat in that folder.
Your phone will reboot into recovery at the end of the script.

I took out the rooting aspect of the script, so use SuperOneClick to root your phone before using this script, if you don't have root.

This method will look like the stock screen, then you press 'reinstall packages' on the stock screen, and it takes you to cwm

Go here. (Last time i post this, promise) Second post. You end up using the 3.xx version of CW Mod. This one seems to behave much better. I'm able to reinstall packages, verification passes, the whole nine yards.

For some reason the 4.xx version of CW Mod has a few kinks in it. I'm sure they'll be worked out soon.

I have done this I still get an error

"e: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted."

I tried re downloading the files and placing the update in the root. Should I format my sd card?

I also had cwm installed from rom manager is this an issue?

Sorry for so many questions I'm a major n00b

try that link I posted at the beginning. It's like one click root, but instead of rooting, it installs this cwm.

otherwise, that error means that the recovery binary didn't get placed, or has bad permissions. make sure that you are putting recovery in /system/bin/ and then try chmod 755 /system/bin/recovery in adb shell.
