Info:
CM7-ZMOD is an unofficial port of Cyanogenmod 7.1 for Xperia X10. This mod is so well-known that I will just skip the introduction :) This mod contains proprietary stuff and as such, can not be released under FreeXperia logo (therefore ZMOD).


ZMOD Extra Features:
- fully working camera and camcorder including flashLED support and EV setting
- uncapped FPS (up to 54)
- sound stuttering fix
- custom cpufreq governor
- simple adblock
- ?


Known bugs:
- no tethering (both wifi/usb) (WIP) - Android Wifi Tether, Banacle work
- ROM Manager works but requires ClockworkMod recovery (not included)
- ?


Tips:
- if you don't use Weather app, disable the auto sync (it's "on" by default)
- set your screen timeout to 30sec (1 min by default)


Requirements:
1. Rooted 2.3.3 ROM
2. working xRecovery 0.3
3. Baseband 71+


Installation:
Flash the zip package via xRecovery

in known bugs you state no wifi/usb tethering, do you mean no wifi at all? or only wifi tethering?

I really appreciate alle devs here. Especially because I don´t have knowledge when it´s about developing. But when you´re gonna leave this is horrible. Just when it is about the last days: sound fix, your nice Free X10 2.3.3 ROM, FFS uncap Fix etc..... THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHIN!!!
oh....about the ROM....my WIFI isn´t working.

Wifi doesn't work it shows list and tries to connect. Notification led doesn't flash stays on whole time.
Went back to freex10.

And damn my phone will not be as fantastic as it was/is without Z.

    CM7-ZMOD-003 is out!

    Changelog:

    - lag is fully fixed - if you feel the ROM isn't too snappy, consider a custom launcher
    - most of FC/crashes in games and apps is gone
    - fixed 3g connection disconnecting periodically
    - fixed "no internet connection when bluetooth is on"
    - customized cpufreq governor (smartass_zmod) offering good battery life and decent performance (thanks AndyXX for X8 port)
    - simple URL filtering ("adblock" - removing ads from games and apps)
    - auto-module loading (simply put the module into /system/lib/modules/<kernel-version>)
    - performance tweaks (thanks Juwe11)
    - lots of minor fixes

    Note: Please test the rom for at least 24h before reporting issues. If you are not happy with smartass_zmod performance/batt life, simply remove the module.

    Due to major changes, this installation will WIPE YOUR DATA!


    Looking forward to hear some feedback about the new cpufreq governor :)

    CM7-ZMOD-002 is out!

    Features:

    - wifi DHCP fix (thanks hrsy96 and doomed151)
    - simple overclocking (fixed 1113MHz frequency)
    - TUN/TAP module
    - fixed color banding in Gallery 3D
    - small improvements in Camera app
    - all of the changes from hotfix1

    This update will not wipe your data - however, if you experience any problems, I suggest backing up your apps and wipe through xRecovery.

    The overclocking is very basic, it simply overrides the 1GHz frequency (don't play with setcpu or it's gone till next reboot :)). This is my first attempt to write such kernel module, but I am planning to develop it to allow custom frequencies / voltages /on-the-go changes.

    If, for some reason, you don't want/like/need overclocking, simply remove the zdzihu_oc.ko module from /system/libs/modules
