there should be a separate thread for MIUI 1.9.16, its getting confusing here
Nah, our phone can support autobrightness...it works on Wolf's ROM pretty well. It's just that it does require a bit of tweaking to use with our hardware. I don't think it would work on this MIUI, but on CM7 maybe.

Hi All,
Do any1 know how to (or is willing to ) make a flashable zip file to change the new market to the old one ?
As the new market is sooooooooooooooooo slow :/ and I do hate that windows 7 look to it.
Cheers
Actually, having swap is better, as it will be as an aid for the RAM, but will take up your storage, not too much though. Usually, I will set my swap partition to 512MB-2GB since I have 2GB of RAM. For the X10, it only has 384MB, so 100MB is enough. I'm not sure if we still follow this kind of rule(swap rule of thumb).
If you want to use it, get a kernel with compcache support(ramzswap like tkymgr's Freekernel, or ThJap's ThKernel), and set your desired size of the swap partition size in the compcache script in /system/etc/init.d. The init script is included in ThKernel but not in FreeKernel, so you might want to read the instructions on using ramzswap if you're using FreeKernel, or just take the script from ThKernel.
nice, i think i will pm you my files to test 3G data connection, camera flashI hope that Erenz don´t mind.
MIUI 1.9.16 is ready! =D
I ported the modifications from the latest N1 build to the Erenz build, also included the optimization (improved a little).
The known bug are:
-MIUI camera - Flash don't work (to be fixed asap)
-Screen gets bright before turn off ( if automatic brightness on use the DIM level on 20 this resolve the problem)
-Portable Hotspot
-Built-in Screen Capture (caused dark screen for a while)
Thanx to:
-Erenz
-Jerpela for CM7
-zdzihu for magical tool called xrecovery
-androxyde and binary for flashtool
-Trip for bring this sexy rom to our beloved phone
-wolfbreak for awesome stock GB that i used as based system
-doomlord and tkymgr for custom kernel
-cobrato and 9Lukas for advice
-etc

3.Using root explorer, copy that file to system/lib/hw
4.Set permissions as per normal:
