clean wipe everything, flash the 6.5.7
if you don't come from 2.3.3, enjoy that's all
If you use before the 2.3.3, you need to download your basebande for use data with cyanogenmod 7 (6.5.7 or 6.6.1)

I'm here. I think next update will be after CM RC2 release.
Device specified changes:
- Network mode in mobile settings (like in stock firmwares)
- "Always play to speaker" CM settings are working now.
- Support for themes with transparent statusbar

I have small idea about baseband issue but I don't have time to test it.

dude ...suggestion - why don't you use LG stock camera app for your rom ? it's much better ...sharper , more colored pictures , and better video files.
thanks ;)
keep up the good work

does this rom have a good battery life ? someone who has it please answer. I have a older version of this rom , if i want to put the stable 6.5.7 what i have to wipe?

It has pretty good battery life you should not have to wipe anything if you are flashing over the same ROM unless you have other tweeks.or mods, I would suggest trying the 6.6.1 CM7 from mik tho it uses the new .35 kernel and is really a lot smoother than the .32 (just my opinion) and the battery life is great also try
Andy's new Phoenix ROM its pretty nice

Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA Premium App running Phoenix ROM over clocked at 806

About hardware acceleration or rom battery lasting these are noobs GENERAL SECTION questions. This is (but someone cannot read) a DEVELOPER section. Posting here noobs or general questions is wasting precious developer's time and bother him, plus filling the thread with garbage make hard to follow a serious argument. I hope kids (and lazy nerds) grow up faster than now ...and moderators come here fast & furious!

And STOP NOW any "when release" silly & stupid questions, I invite and hope:mad:

Old Baseband only. New one will be supported when I will have more free time.
Only beta6.6 and above configured to use 2.6.35 kernel!

    Disclaimer:
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

    Known bugs:
    • Divx/xvid playback don't work (use MoboPlayer)
    • Strange crash in Camera (Restore defaults in video mode)
    • ADW: Widgets: crash after Choose Catalog
    • Empty device serial number (IMEI is ok, official firmware has same bug)
    • 6.6.1 only: zoom need to be refixed

    For apps2sd use Darktremor.

If you get bootloop or stuck at LG logo do next:
Sometimes Recovery can't format /system so you need to clear /system manually. You can do it with this zip (flash as always in recovery), or in mounts menu (clockworkmod recovery only), or with adb:
    1. Mount /system in recovery.
    2. adb shell rm -rf /system/*
You get 1 error. This is ok.
Will update if I found this bug.

    Latest stable release:
    beta6.5.8: http://www.mediafire.com/?l4of3bdqyr5rivd (md5: b9e4de46e34ec2f95a45145229e89106)

Do not forget about nandroid backup.
Do not forget to wipe data/cache if you're updating from Froyo.

Minimal Google Apps (market and talk, flash via recovery, first add Google Account): http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
Other GAPPS you can download from the Market (Use Market Enabler should your country not allow full access to the market list).

Any help in fixing bugs are welcome.
