Well I tried to get the sgs2 today at bb and att. They both said sold out so while I wait for it I would love to flash your most recent fixes, etc.

Then again of you feel it is not worth uploading, it likely is not worth flashing... Am I right Mikey?

Well....flash just to flash something? Only if it adds features or has bug fixes, but I don't have any issues with S7. My issues are usually with apps or widgets and their updates, and with AT&T Wireless. Thanks for the great work you, MikeyMike and ChanceM have given us! I'll just keep using my Cappy until I can get my upgrade in Sept 2012. Man that's a long time to wait but I hear that the new phones coming next Summer are going to be AWESOME!

Yippee! You just made my Monday!

Well, if that's all you wanted you can have Build 3 right now. I just have to upload it.
Yes!! That's all I really wanted! It's perfect, other than that Widgetlocker thing (that's in there, I hope!) I completely understand you're moving on, as I will, too, as soon as I have the money.....thank you so much, Mike! See you on the SGS side!

I've traced the WidgetLocker thing to a S7 issue. I also have a problem where playlists will come up with 0 items after a reboot. I'll post if Build 3 makes a difference. Even with those two issues, nothing compares to S7.

Mikey, it's been a great ride on the Captivate with you. I hope we land on the same device again. I'm holding out until the 11th to see what the Nexus might have to offer, then it's either that or SGS2.

Beware!! Links are wrong....

Be careful - the link for the Build 2-Build 3 update links to the full ROM download. It'll fully wipe. Go to the other downloads on the Mediafire page (look up to the left) and you can get the correct update zip.

I noticed it when I was transferring it from my pc to my phone - the full ROM is 150 megs or so, the update is only 3.

Too late! I saw your post literally seconds after thinking "formatting system? FFFFFUUUUUUU!"

Not a big deal, though. I could use a clean install anyway.

So if you're flashing back to S7 from stock can you just flash build 3 rather than 1 then 2 then 3?

Right but build 3 looks like its the full ROM at 150mb. So I still would have to start at 1?

No, as I said a few posts up, the link points to the wrong download. Beware, the Build 2 to Build 3 update is the full ROM - it will cause a full wipe. Mikey needs to fix that link. You, t3chn0s1s, can use that full download, everyone else, who just wants to go from Build 2 to Build 3, should go to the Mediafire download page, look up to the left, click on all of Mikey's files, and download the update from there, at least until he gets it fixed.

I'm getting something I've never even heard of before.

Every time I boot, it boots straight into CWM Recovery. I can restore nandroid, flash a ROM, flash a kernel, whatever and it still boots to CWM Recovery. Running out of stuff to try before I go back to JF6 and dance back to GB.

So I ended up flashing back to stock using Odin 1click JF6. Installing GB bootloaders now. I can only assume that restoring a nandroid backup hosed my boot.img. Glad I keep TiBu info on external SD. Now the Paranoid Parrot in me wants to move TiBu to Dropbox.

Friendly advice. Use MyBackup Pro, too. Not because it's better, but because at one time or another a restore from each of them crapped out on me and the other backup saved the day. It, too, saves backups on the external card. A lot slower than TiBu, but when you're desparate for a working backup that's a small price to pay.

this, my friend , is the drill
    1. uninstall current swype with TiBu
    2. delete libswypecore.so from system/lib with rootexplorer
    3. extract content from swype.apk with rootexplorer and get the libswypecore.so from lib/armeabi and paste it in system/lib
    4. copy the swype.apk to system/app
    5. reboot device
