From ver 1.04, We don't need do two first steps

-Download Device Software Update Utility with this link : Here - Mirror - Mirror
-Extract to C:\Windows\Temp
-Extract the ROM to : C:\Windows\Temp
-Connect your device with PC via mini USB port
-Run Device Software Update Utility.exe
-Choose "OS only" (This is safe menthod)
-Wait 15', it will automatic hardreset.

*** Introduce for flash ROM via miniSD card

-Download the ROM miniSD card version (Download (via miniSD card)) from the top of this topic.
-Connect miniSD card with your PC via CardReader.
-Extract ROM to the root folder of miniSD (name must be : diskimg.nb0, size : 64,000 KB)
-Insert miniSD card to your device.
-Change battery full.
-Go to bootloader : Press both soft key (two "-" keys) and softreset (stylus), i'll apear HP bootloader sceen.
-Wait 15 -> 20 mins. I'll auto hardreset.

P/S : If flash not successful, you can go again to bootloader :
-Press both softkeys (two "-" keys) and remove battery then insert battery again (don't unpress two softkeys) and softreset, wait 2-3 seconds. It'll go bootloader mode. You can flash your device again.

I have a question!C:\Windows\Temp is directory on my PC not PPC or?

I have putted all the files into C/Windows/Temp on my PC.After that I started the RUU.I choose OS only and after that there is a message: CreateFile fail!

Where is the problem?

I`ve put all the files into C:/Windows/Temp (without folders).RUU begin to install, but after that there was a message that my PPC is disconnected and boxe closes.Is that normal?Now my pocket is in Bootloader mode!

theres a bug in the rom. after 2nd hard reset set becomes dead. please check

Don't unplug or disconnect your device during flash until it's finish.
Remember choose "OS Only"
Please connect your device to PC and reflash it.

I've try to hardreset my device 4 times and more but nothing happened...

There is another problem.When my pocket goes in Boatloader mode it shows BL 1.0.5 and my Windows Mobile Device Center alarm that my pocket is disconnected.After that RUU shows a message that it can`t find the pocket and the installation stop!

If your Bootloader is 1.0.5 please downgrade to 1.0.1 then using DRUU again.
To downgrade using this ROM : ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp34001-34500/sp34053.exe

Sorry for my double post but there is a error.I connect the pocket and i start the installation and the program says: Code 203 Update is incompatible.

My pocket is HP iPAQ rw6815!

Please use the DRUU patch model & language.
Download this link : http://rapidshare.com/files/83414955/hpRUU_patched_from_language_and_model.zip
Then extract and replace original hpRUU.exe.

I extract the patch into C:/IPAQ/S34053.After that i started the downloaded sp34053.exe.And the same code error.

I tried to run the patched hpRUU.exe into the IPAQ directory and there is a message: Code 101 Image file corrupted

First you must extract sp34053.exe to any folder
Copy the patched hpRUU.exe to this folder (replace original hpRUU.exe)

after testing ur new ROM.
i think it's unstable... it hangs several time
i prefer ur 1.2 ROM
although there are some bugs in 1.2
but i wish that u would continue improvement on 1.2
because most people prefer a clean ROM
and i think it's better to have clean ROM so each people can install application according to their needs
