Hi guy, i have updated from the stock 2.3.3 with the NoWipe, is the first time than i use a not stock ROM...

This ROM is realy amazing, very very fast and nice, but i think there is something wrong with the battery..

When i use my tab, maybe just for read some news on internet, it is hot like when i play to one intensive game, and the battery going down very fast, i lost almost 10% just watching the new feature in the setting... i think about 1% every 2-3 minutes...

There is normal?
I can fix it?

Thx for the help and anyway for the amazing work with this rom!

I suddenly have problem with auto rotation, no matter what I do the device won't rotate. I have tried to reboot without any effect. Any solution?

Hmmm... Never mind.. I of course found the problem after posting the question.. It was a different widget that somehow managed to permanently switch rotation off...

flashed WIPE version 2 days ago. Works fine, fast and smooth.
instead of posting that wifi or 3g don't work on NO-WIPE install WIPE

Backed up with Titanium backup and everything works just fine.
If you want better battery life just install SetCPU and make some profiles.

Hi,

After a no-wipe install and some problem with contact, I have installed the wipe version and restored all my app with Titanium.

En résumé : Great Job. All is fast and smooth. The better one ;-)

Horror bluetooth - is this just me?

Hi, I've had the same problem for the last three updates and it's driving me a bit crazy so any help would be appreciated.

Basically, I use my tab as my primary music source and have always listened via A2DP. The problem I've been having is near constant dropouts every three to five seconds that last for about half a second. It makes listening to music impossible and I just can't understand what is causing it. Each time I have upgraded the system I have performed a full wipe and the latest update to 4.0.0 has not solved this.

The only thing that has remained constant across the updates is the modem (JK3 Modem) - could it possibly be a problem that's arisen as a result of this modem? The other thing I have noticed is occaisionally there will be a little 'error' underneath my wifi status in the notifcation bar and I will need to restart wifi a few times to get access to any network. This leads me to think that the problems are connected.

Any thoughts? This is driving me crazy!

i had same problem...
this is what i did:
- install SetCPU - profile for screen off max speed 800 min 200
- freeze following apps using Titanium Backup:

ebook
english dict
samsung keyboard
e-mail - i use gmail app
readers hub
mini sketch memo
all share
digital frame
samsung apps

unfortunately i did i all together so i'm not sure what really helped
i think that using wifi or 3g simultaneously with media player make AllShare active and slows down everything

also it gave me about 40 megs of free RAM

I can confirm that freezing some bloatware fixes the problem with playing music. It eliminated the problem for me but also cant advise the exact app that is causing the issue since I as well did batch freezing.

is there a way to uninstall these apps without messing with system? not actually all of them, just some like the sketch memo and readers hub.

what do u mean by "messing with system"? when u uninstall these apps you're already messing with the system as these are system apps.

just use titanium backup to uninstall these apps. or you can manually delete then using root explorer. but make sure u back them up just in case something phucks up.

go to settings > applications > manage applications > market > clear data and try again.

btw did u change your dpi?

Just did a clean wipe installation.

Almost everything works just perfect in 4.0.0 except 2 items:
1) The AngryGPS tweak
2) Downloading large apps from the Market (example Catan)

The "code" to access AngryGPS get me into a totally different screen.
Using the app AnyCut, gets me into the exact same screen, so what changed?
Where do I tweak the GPS now under 4.0.0?

The downloading of large apps still doesn't work. Any ideas?

hi O-team,

I flashed the new rom (wipe version) after I used my kratos a long time.
I don't know how you did it but with the 4.0 rom is my tab like a new device, so quick and smooth using, unbeleavable. thanks a lot again, this rom ROXX

Excellent release, as usual, Team Overcome! Thank you very much

The new font is beautiful and other than my usual headache with the new Market (have gone back to the old 2.3.6 release to keep my sanity), everything is more polished and just as quick and smooth as before.
