Why not Just use titanium backup to freeze the stock SMS app (or delete it)?
BTW there are some apps in the android market that I can't see after updating to CM 054 from CM052.
Do I have to change my market app or something to see all the apps in the market?

Check this new Platypus Neo 18 Kernel. Seems as no data corruption anymore.
Could have been my issues with external sd-card. Maybe solved? Update later on.

Just updated to 054, lush, first update for ages for me, now I just gotta find a decent radio, or maybe my orange network is just crap!

Doesn't matter at all, I've tried a few versions including the latest, also the old market.. there are also apps I have installed but can't update, someone told me its because of the resolution.

Not sure if the link will work, but when you switch to the video camera you get a fuzzy screen, sound is there, then I tried to take a screen shot and it went black then the camera was there.

Also if you switch from front camera to back it gets it working, I guess just wait till the next update, unless or great king has an answer...

Sounds like the old camera problem we found in earlier versions. I remember there was a camera zip to get cameras working. I just don't remember if it was for CM roms or Samsung Roms ( I think it was for Samsung roms and JVH issues on camera with custom roms?!?!).

I did. Am running on neo 18 kernel and so far so good. Erased the external sd card before flashing kernel, did in recovery the kernel cleaner and flashed neo 18. Looks good! Runs smoooooth, fast and looks stable. Led notifications work fine and my external sdcard is working so far. Lol let's keep on checking.
I'm also on it- deep idle version, got a few frozen screens on cm052. Will try normal version next days.

- Copy Insanity ROM to internal SD Card
- Reboot into Recovery Mode
- Flash insanity via CWM

Easy Peasy Installation for Insanity cm31 and higher,
Case 1:
Currently on any Samsung 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 ROMs (stock or custom, you already have Gingerbread Bootloader (GBL))
• Enter CWM recovery (If you are on stock Samsung, install speedmod or another kernel which gives you this).
• Wipe data/factory reset
• Go to mounts and storage, format system , go back.
• Go to advanced, wipe dalvik cache.
• Go to Install zip file, select zip file, select Insanity cmxx.zip and Install insanity.
• Reboot to system.
• Flash another kernel using nitrality if you need, gapss.
Case 2:
Currently on 2.1 or 2.2 samsung roms (stock or custom)
• If you don’t have CWM recovery, install a kernel for 2.1 or 2.2 which gives you that.
• Download Odin from here if you don't have odin already and GingerBread Bootloaders (GBL).
• Load GBL in PDA, click on bootloader update and reset time. Nothing else.
• Once odin says pass with a green bar, pull battery.
• Enter CWM recovery, wipe data/factory reset.
• Go to mounts and storage, format system , go back.
• Go to advanced, wipe dalvik cache.
• Go to Install zip file, select zip file, select Insanity cmxx.zip and Install insanity.
• Reboot to system.
• Flash another kernel using nitrality if you need, gapss.
Case 3:
Currently on Cm7/Insanity(30 and older)/MIUI with Froyo bootloaders

Currently on Cm7/Insanity 31 and older/MIUI with GBL
• Enter CWM recovery
• Wipe Cache (can skip this if you are on insanity, do it later if you have issues).
• Go to advanced, wipe dalvik cache ( can skip this if you are on insanity, do it later if you have issues).
• Go to Install zip file, select zip file, select Insanity cmxx.zip and Install insanity.
• Reboot to system.
• Flash another kernel using nitrality if you need, gapss.
If you still manage to screw up, time to give up on flashing as you can’t follow simple instructions.
