Your last post reminded me that I have to do my part as Cranium Rom's user.
I started from RC4 as described at the beginning of this thread.
Then I moved on other RC via CWM.
I have tested RC6 in the last last 4 days, once installed I have lost all my apps.
I'm a newbie and, as far as I've understood, maybe this is due to the fact I've not mounted /system,/data and /sdcard before flashing RC6, please correct me if I'm wrong.
On RC6 I had some problem with mp3, which are not recognized by Music app.
PowerAMP app recognizes all files, but I wasn't still able to set mp3 as ringtone. I solved this with the app in post #1741.
Another thing is related to USB mass storage, I cannot access the Usb settings menu (it crashes) to set between Kies mode and USB storage mode.
I've found that as long as USB debugging is enable, phone connects as USB storage. Disabling debugging enable KIES mode.
I tested a bluetooth file transfer from another phone (nokia e51) and it worked.
Another thing _I faced was that I cannot mount /system /sdcard and /data in Faemod/CWM Recovery, formatting sdcard from phone and external sdcard solve this.
My experience with RC6 is almost good.
I've not reached the same score as RC5 on AnTuTu, and I have to set CPU to 1,8GHz due to some crashes (display became white/green) and unexpected poweroff with 1.93GHz.
The theme is so cool that everyone I know who own a galaxy S is envy.
When I have some time to spend, and overall to manage any issue, I will try to do a clean install.

Edit: of course battery life depends on your config. E.G.Wifi consumes a lot of power and is better to turn off when not used.
@1.8GHz with smartassV2 governor and noop I/O battery last from 6:00 to 23:00 using a little bit of wifi (about 2 hours) some quick calls and with 3gdata always turned on.

2)Underclocked from 1.93 Ghz to 1.9 Ghz for stabiltity reasons,and some changes to ramdisk.
3)mp3 bug fixed(thanks to budakmaran for the app)
4)Added XDA App.
5)Removed some useless files to save space.

U may check for a new app(dont remember name),budakmaran said it fixed the problem

that app should detected mp3 files and you can set a ringtone from that app..

USB BUG FIX BY FASBAU result does not. He did all the instructions in the header post.
Maybe someone knows how to solve this problem? Just really do not want to put another assembly.

Okey, thanks i solved but i thought whem installing update it was able to find files with stock App music.

This ROM supports bln control? I read ,just no remember where, someone installed and phone got freeze.

I did it as follows:
1. Create ROM
2. Boot system
3. Install busybox
4. Extract XXKPS ROM and copy to SDCARD
5. Extract my ROM with following commands from POST #1259 (on phone using adb shell)
6. Tarred them with command from POST #1259 (on phone using adb shell)
7. MD5'd the file with command from POST #1259 (on phone using adb shell)
8. Pulled the file (using adb), zipped it on my PC
9. Uploaded it
Haven't tested it yet as it's way past bedtime...6Tutorial for installing Cranium RC4
0. First of all download this:

1. unzip the rar
2. start odin (Multi_Downloader_v4.43_with_smd0425.exe)
3. put your phone into the download mode
turn your phone off, then hold volume down+home button+power button until the download mod is open)
4. plugin your phone with the usb
5. pick as ops file the "AriesVE.ops“ in the "Basic-Rom“ folder
6. then klick left at the option "one package"
7. pick as one package: "I9001ZSKP6_I9001OZSKP6_I9001ZSKP6_HOME.tar.md5" in the "Basic-Rom“ folder
8. klick on start and wait (~5min)
9. your phone should be rebooted, configure it until you can call for example someone
10. turn your phone again off and put it in the download mode again
11. select as ops file "AriesVE.ops“ in the "clockworkmod“ folder
12. make sure you klick on "one package" again, then you pick as "one package" "FeaModRecovery_1.2.tar.md5“ in the "clockworkmod" folder
13. klick on start again
14. copy the "Zips“ folder on your mobile device sdcard, but make sure your usb debbuging is turned on
(settings->applications->development->turn usb debbuging on)
15. if everything is copied, turn your phone again off
16. enter the recovery mode
(by holding the buttons volume-up and power button until the samsung logo appears)
17. navigate with the volume button to "install zip from sdcard“, then to "choose zip from sdcrard“ and find the "zips" folder you put on your mobile device
18. first install the "Root-i9001-Signed.zip“
19. then install the "updateFMR_cfs_1.3.1.zip“
20. then install "signed_Cranium_i9001_2.3.6“
21. your phone should be rebooted, put your phone in the recovery mod again
22. then install the "Cranium_i9001_rc4_fixed_framework.zip“
23. enter the recovery mod again and make a backup
(choose "backup and restore“ then choose "backup“)
24. Enjoy your phone
DO NOT EVER WIPE YOUR DATA!!!!!!
