I tried this on two computers, a Vista and a Win7. And they couldn't install the drivers for my Galaxy W.

Sorry to kick an old thread but where is the actual guide? I might be blind but didnt see any links to one or what not...

Click the BROWN links The links here on xda seem to come up brown instead of blue.

Password fails
I am trying to extract the file after downloading and I cannot do it - it says the password failed - or something like that -

What can I Do?

What is the difference between the .exe file that one can download at ( and the .7z file that is available here ( Which one should i download?

EDIT: i downloaded the second file but no adb driver can be installed for my xperia mini pro sk17i. Any suggestion?

I installed adb and it works fine from the sdk directory but I followed the instructions above, hoping to not have to cd everytime but it doesn't find adbwinapi.dll. My version of that file contains some "caps" ( AdbWinApi ), don't know if that matters.

Suggestions for an adb dummie?.....
