- task panel (task manager beleive Me you will need it in android also)
- minimalistic text (bored of icons use text only to launch app)
- llama (automate tasks)
- simi clock (decent clock with battery and weather)
- phone tester/elixr 2 (know everything about your phone)
- tune in radio (I prefer this over pandora depends on individual opnion)
- simi folder (folder of app shortcut like iphone way)
- contapps (its gd contact manager)
- vlingo (talk to operate your phone)
- dolphin browser/chrome/firefox (all are gd with decent functionality)

I just spent the last month of holidays going over every category of app/top 10 lists/recommendations, finding the best ones. I have about 100 'must have' apps that don't include games/website + company apps/gimmicks, I'll post the list when I'm done... I'll just post 10 that are nice:
Google Sky -see all the stars
Satalite AR -see all the satalites
Network Spoofer - troll starbucks
Aard - offline wiki's
Terminal IDE (replace regular terminal) - run Vim on your android from your desktop
AndroIRC - real men's internet chat
Ivona Voice beta
LBE - the only real 'must have' app (security)

21Hi guys new to the forum and new to android, should be getting my LG tomorrow. I was wondering what your top ten apps are for the LGo 2x. I did see some other threads for other phones but maybe because of the awsome power you would be using other apps for this one ?
Or after rooting what shoud be the first apps to install ?

There's no need to use Chrome - you could use it for Firefox with Fox2Phone. It uses the official extension, just makes it usable in Firefox.
Out of interest: Why are you recommending Dolphin Mini? The 2x has no problems with handling Dolphin Browser HD which I am currently using - is there a reason to switch?1My top 10 apps:
