Too much OC, try at 768MHz max. And dont forget, that just a phone.... and/or try another better SD card. (not one that fast to write large files, find one that fast with small files)

I have reboots once a day, or once per two days. They mainly occur while downloading bigger stuff from the internet. The last one occured while listening to music, downloading from the net, and installing 2 apps from market. I use stock launcher, 806MHz-245 smartassv2, 256mb swap. How can I report this, is there some log file which creates reports for these reboots?

I think you are doing to much things at the same time with low ram.. And you are using more swap than needed. Swap is not the solution because the phone must to download and upload things from ram to internal memory (bottleneck!). If the system hasn't enought ram when needed it will reboot (happend to me with other roms like mike's ICS or ASIS)

@Miroslav_mm

can you make a fastboot ver of the final release? I want to try a new record LoL
Also, after the bug are solved,it would be good to have the same kernel on your 2.2 rom :)

That's is right! CM7 have a problem with low ram and this is big ****.. AOSP roms don't haved this problem.

To help the developer we should test by our own if changing compcache and VM Heap settings the problem gets solved.

At the moment i'm on the PcF's v6 CM7.2 rom, i have no problems at all with ram and reboots, until i keep my cpu at a lower freq than 806mhz. My VM Heap is @ 24m,and my other settings are on my signature.

Also,we should write down what are the services usually running in background (for example, i didn't install Maps,so it won't open...ever :D)

EDIT: Asap i'll do a test on quadrant with 245/600 smartassV2 on this rom,so we can see what rom can be faster with daily use. As for battery drain, this rom lasts about 1,5 days with Edge (mobile internet) always connected and a pair of calls of about 3/4 minutes every day. The battery is about a year old.

Swap should be the reason for reboots. Try disabling it and report back about reboots.

@hardspace

I am not experiencing any problems with RAM management in CM7 (pcf's V5). Running at the moment 16 processes (games included) and 44MB free RAM (and using AutoKiller Memory optimizer). Launcher app is locked in memory and everything is very smooth.

Here we are with speed tests :)

Rom: PcFighter CM 7.2 v6.
I'm using SD Booster with 2048k cache.
If you want to take it as a "tweak",i deleted all the applications i don't use, including Maps (i use navigon), default camera (i use Sleek Camera), default gallery (i use QuickPic). I use old 2.3.6 market. Before testing i cleaned cache with CacheMate, then killed all applications running with Advanced Task Killer, using LOW Security level.

Settings: CPU@245/600,SmartAssV2.
Vm Heap is @24m, no home or messages in memory, but i'm using 16bit transparency. Other settings are as in my signature.

Quadrant Advanced 1.1.6 Standard test

1st run: CPU 3474 / 2D 357 / 3D 375 - Total Score 1139
2nd run: CPU 3554 / 2D 360 / 3D 383 - Total Score 1102
3rd run: CPU 3388 / 2D 355 / 3D 383 - Total Score 1134
4th run: CPU 3570 / 2D 355 / 3D 386 - Total Score 1087

Neocore Last version on market, standard test with standard resolution and sound
1st run: 48.6 fps
2nd run: 48.8 fps
3rd run: 48.4 fps
4th run: 48.6 fps

    Installation

For who do not want to do a full reset, try to wipe dalvik-cache (recovery>>advanced). If you still come out with any problems, then a make a full wipe or factory reset.

NOTE: Before you flash this you need to eather resize SYSTEM partition with a MBN file IF you have a 150MB partition, files are attached for 160 & 170 partition resize respectively, flash via fastboot: fastboot flash APPSBL mbn_file.mbn OR you can simply open the zip file with 7ZIP and remove ringtones, apps to make it fit in the 150 partition you have, do not remove .odex files

    FASTBOOT
    Code:
    cd C:\*SDK\tools
    fastboot -w
    fastboot erase boot
    fastboot erase system
    fastboot flash boot boot.img
    fastboot flash system system.img
    fastboot -w
    fastboot reboot
    -----------------------------------------
To restore your apps then type:
    fastboot flash userdata data.img
    fastboot reboot
    RECOVERY | .ZIP FILE
    - Plug, mount your PHONE and put the zip file into the root of your SDCARD
    - Unmount, unplug your PHONE and reboot it into recovery (HOME+POWER BUTTON)
    - Go to “flash a zip file / choose zip file / select the .zip file”
    - Go back, select reboot system now.

    * Thanks to @GOOFY2 and @eoghan2t7 for the MBN files
