I was using my phone quite a bit at work. I also installed this rom last night so im sure it hasn't settled in yet. I typically get ~4 hours of screen on time.

F*@%ing 2.5 days?? And 4 hours of screen time??? I hate you, ryude; I'm on the same ROM and kernel as you, and I can't get more than 18 hours/3 hours of screen time.

Can you tell a little more about your setup? Do you use Tasker to automate anything? Do you undervolt or underclock? Do you keep data or wifi on all the time? Use Autostarts? Regularly kill processes you don't need?

Seems that your WIFI is constantly on. Go to advanced WIFI settings and select Sleep policy->"When screen turns off"

This. I don't use WiFi except when I really need to.

Ok, I already don't do use wifi except when I need to. What about the other things I mentioned? There has to be some big difference between your setup and mine...there's like a 111% difference between your battery life and mine, and you're getting more screen on time! That's too much of a difference to be explained by hardware variability...

I don't use any other apps except the one included in the ROM, that's probably the reason. Either you have a rogue app which is draining battery or you have a ton of apps trying to sync data.

I have no apps syncing data. I have autosync off, I have notifications turned off in the Market and the Amazon Appstore, I have facebook installed, but I have notifications turned off and chat offline. My weather widget is set to sync only every two hours.

The culprit must be Tasker...I originally installed it to replace JuiceDefender and save battery...but it may be doing the opposite now. I'll disable it and see what happens.

Oh yea, any app that is for saving battery always kills battery lol

I work in an ER and I've noticed (signal is horrible in there for any phone provider) if I leave the phone antenna on it'll suck the battery dry because it's going in and out of searching for a signal.

I keep the Wifi on while there and I have it set to always stay on whether the screen is off or not so it's on 100% of the time. I don't know how much having the wifi turn off when screen is off makes a significant difference.

I occasionally check up drugs and whatnot on the phone. Average drain is minimal. So far went from 100% to 90% and that was 11 hours ago ;) Screen time on 2 min 45 sec lol.

My main point as I don't know how much the wifi sleep policy effects the battery on the phone. Mine's stock settings except for UnNamed 1.3.1 ROM and I have SetCPU throttle the CPU to a max of 500Mhz when screen is turned off.
