using root explorer, goto /system/etc/init.d, create new file name it as "75sdcard". paste this script and save. set permission to 777 (rwxrwxrwxr using root explorer). then reboot.
let see if it remove your soundbug.

Hmm, I already got that one, and everything looks accordingly to your code.
I'm using the Sony ICS v.1 with your "initd-supports.zip" + other tweaks such as supercharger.
Haven't heard the sqeek in awhile though since I last rebooted, maybe it just needed a few more reboots
You got that sound bug? I thought it only resides on slower CPU phone :/ I don't get a sound bug with 2048 kb set (only when the CPU is too stressed, some audio bug may occured, but not as bad as my old X10 Mini Pro)

Some general rule of thumb, SD class 6 and/or faster, 2048 kb and up. SD class 4 and/or slower, 1024kb and less.
That's strange, I've never noticed a significant difference since I bought the phone when released, but it has always loaded fairly fast either settings  (same with my U20i :p)

Well with u20I I was trying to use paul's Rom or slade's one. The sd speed tweak always bugs me that I had to revert back to original value. But now it is much better with ray though.

Thank you for using mediafire to host. I will definitely be giving both Doom kernels a try. I loved your GB kernels!

Hey great work. Um has it been re-uploaded? As I also experience this problem.

Thanks

actually it has 2 version.
- one in /sbin/busybox which link from /sbin/recovery (v1.16.3)
- another one in /system/xbin | /system/bin (v1.19.3)

i noticed that if you run terminal type "busybox" it shows 1.19.3, then after "su" it called /sbin/busybox which is the old version

didnt find solution yet how to upgrade version /sbin/busybox

That's something that's wrong with all the ICS roms. /sbin should not come before /system/(x|)bin in $PATH.

It makes it impossible for su binary and busybox upgrades to fully stick, since different binaries will be called for superuser, and these will be out of date. In fact, whenever you're in superuser mode, most system critical stuff used is actually symlinks to /sbin/recovery - including /sbin/busybox.

Its a very 'SEMC' $PATH that's set in init.rc - /vendor/bin comes before /system as well.

Since you can't upgrade /sbin/busybox easily, the solution is to fix $PATH ... move /vendor and /sbin to after /system, and the issue should be fixed at the root, hopefully without it all blowing up in your face.

P.S. USB mount in recovery works fine here :)

Same here, can't mount USB when loaded in the ROM.
Working fine here (MSC) ADB works too! Some of sirkay's earlier kernels i'd only get adb in recovery.

BTW: unpack/twiddle init.rc/repack/fastboot flash -> system busybox and all that good stuff takes precedence

attachment.php

Code:
# setup the global environment
    export PATH /system/sbin:/system/bin:/system/xbin:/sbin:/vendor/sbin

must be drivers missing... Check in nontouch recovery, there just be something missing...

Btw... Did you try to pushing this recovery?
Might work as it says drivers are universal for all deVices...

Don't know why but since I used the touch based kernel, my phone got freeze for 5 sec regularly. So yesterday I tried to reformat my phone with all stock ics beta source and voila it is smooth again. :)

Sirkay, are these kernel based on arc kernel or you do manage to place the recovery to Ray original kernel?

    4) Click "Flash" button on Flashtool, then select Fastboot Mode.

    [ SOLUTION: Graphic Performance ]

For those who using my kernel (ics beta kernel source build) may have some low performance in Official ICS (.562 FW). Trick to get better graphic performance :

    1. Goto to Adreno Driver Thread by arcatarc
    2. Download GpuDriverICS_4.1.A.0.562.zip and put in your SD
    3. Flash OriginalAdrenoICSSony_4.1.A.0.562.zip using CWM.
    4. Booting up
    5. Enjoy some graphic improvement!

thanks to arcatarc for his update.zip
