Can't seem to get ADB to connect and the stock launcher keeps FC'ing.

Any ideas? (USB debugging on, of course)

Edit : I flashed Jamie's new build over AOKP b.27, but kept getting reboots. Did a clean wipe/install. It runs well, just can't get ADB or a launcher.

Edit 2: Changed DPI to 320 so the launcher would work. Downloaded titanium, redid my nova backup, all should be well. I still can't get ADB to connect though...

Pls try another USB port or

adb kill-server[Enter]
adb devices[Enter]

but you're right, still there some issues with adb.

I do have the tff files of the fonts I used but not sure if or how, or where they can be copied in system.

Try Pushinh ttf files to System/fonts & Reboot & see if it works!

Hi,
for some time I had some issues related to media storage :

- Gallery don't see anything
- My ringtones (/media/ringtones) are not found either in android system

For info in AOSP gallery sees only pictures from my external SD, the same for the ringtones

i can not change the lockscreen wallpaper from rom control.
has anyone succeeded?

Dont know if its a general bug or not but can't get apps to move to sd card.
Titanic says they have but...they haven't..

wow wake up to someone making my release seem like crap because of a launcher and not a "modded for every dpi" market?

instead of wasting everyones time with a full zip you think you would have just made an update.zip with market/launcher...

i know thats my last release for xda

Wait what? Who did what? I hope you aren't talking about me. I got mine working just fine minus ADB.

Don't let the trolls bother you, we all appreciate what you've done. The graphic glitches bugged the hell out of me and are all gone now.

no not you, just someone pushing out a borked release after i had pushed a fixed one.

just to throw in 2 apk's that could have been put into a simple .zip
*which i had ready i was far to tired at 2am*

Well don't give up on us, I appreciate your work.

On a side note. I don't like having the LED's lit up when I have the nav bar. In build 27 they appeared to just not work when the nav bar was on. Anyway to disable these? Is this a stupid question?

Edit: I am currently using "Screen Filter" to disable the backlight... but there has got to be another way that I'm missing.

Your work solved many issues (all visual glitches that made me mad) and V3 is working great.

This is "development" section. There are several guides to extract a system apk from a zip, change the market or make ADB work. Please use the search tool and stop annoying the developers.

I've been searching everywhere for that exact thing with no success at all

Even all the ways used in Honeycomb did not help as far as I know..

That's the only reason why I gave up using tablet mode

Please point me to this mythical "Get ADB working" guide... As I seem to be over looking it.

And while you are busy policing the dev section, most dev's welcome open discussion in their threads. I mean, Chris X and Jamie are BOTH modifying and making this ROM better, how can they expect us to NOT ask questions?

Don't be such a kissass, Dev's know whats up when they release something. All 3 dev's have been active in this thread. If they didn't want to discuss the workings, they'd close the thread or just disappear.
