I'm about to give up on this ROM...

lets think for just 1 second here. There are literaly over 10000 downloads of this rom and VERY few people are having problems. Why? It is either A. Device hardware, B. User error or C. Both a and b.

Ive been using this rom since Version .001 (exaggerating there because I can't remember the version it started out with) way before RC or REDLINE anything and have NEVER had a problem with it. At some points I was getting 50+ hours on a single battery charge.

Make sure u recalibrate your battery. That was always my biggest problem.

1 day 14 plus hours last time I looked. With moderate use. Texting emails Craigslist and even a little Amazon mp3 downloading and shazam. WiFi 3G and 4G always on. Bad a guys. Anyone doing better pm me and let me know what's different.

Nice! Being a novice user I'm going to hold out for the unlocking for dummies version lol. I'm actually used to the fastboot method now lol.

Yea, the procedure seems a but in depth, but I believe xhausx said he was going to try to make a more automated version of the process this weekend.

I may try to look and see if I can maybe get something together

Wow, this is great news for those of us with 1.3 and 1.4 hboot variances. Now if we need a replacement we can get root! I didn't read the thread, is it a downgrade for 1.4 or us it just a crack for root found in 1.5?

The process takes users that have 1.5 hboot to a lower version so they can use revolutionary to s-off their phone. However, the op believes he missed a step, so the procedure is currently in hold until he gets out of work and updates with his findings
