Flashed.. works great, no problems apart from those already mentioned. The misplacement was already present in another cooked ROM with RealVGA, no big deal. Once again, THANK YOU!

Hey thanks all.

The bug with Samsung Theme was expected. I tried removing it during the cooking process but it was a part of the main CPL. So what I will do next is to make a cab file to restore Samsung Theme so that you don't have to reflash with a new fix. Same with other fixes, I prefer to make fixes through cab rather than re-cooking the whole rom which is quite sizeable to upload.

With that in mind, anybody know of any good Cab maker? Freeware hopefully.

I have not used any GPS sofware (TomTom etc) on this rom yet. This is just my fourth day with an i780, but I will use one very soon and I expect it will work because the core WM6.1 SYS was "borrowed" from an official rom (HTC Kaiser) and the OEM parts and drivers from Official Samsung HE1, so there's no reason the drivers would not work if they have worked properly before on those roms.

And please keep the feedbacks coming. Until we get an official WM6.1 from Samsung, we will hang on to this one

Sorry buddy, I am a complete noob when it comes to unlocking phones, just like the rest of you, I will have to rely on whatever tools available.

The good thing about SGH i780 is that the bootloader seems to run on a very sturdy HardSPL which makes it very resilient to rom changes

Second i have seen people using this program http://www.aperitto.com/content/view/14/159/ it does have a freeware version, i think this version just add a message in the instalation process.

for those suffering coz too small dialpad after flashing.

Just edit registry and reset.

HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin
"Enabled"=0

but it's without video call button.

result.

I just tested Tomtom and it doesnt need any extra app.
Real good work.
But Tomtom runs laggier than the older rom...
You think its because of the higher resolution?

Other problem:
When I change the language in realvga to german the HTC_Plugin doesnt work.
You may think im a noob but I need a way to change the y and z key because I have a german QWERTZ keypad.

Sorry for my stupid questions...

I did not try tomtom but garmin xt, google map working without 3th app.
Just changed GPS Settings : GPS program port -> COM1, Hardware port -> COM9 (defalut).

Just install "Minimal Dialer Clean" (yeah I know it's not working with fancy skin).

Thanks for your feedback. there's no such thing as stupid question. I will find a way if we can get this rom to support QWERZT. And see if we can get HTC home to work on German locale

Anybody knows what's needed for CHS support on english WM6? if I can that info then I can work on it. no promise tho because I know nuts about CHS

the original wm6 rom support chinese display and 3rd party handwriting IME. I think this is FONT and nls issues. I use latest cestar version but always hang. Now flash back to E1! looking forward your solution. EFN.

I solved the Tomtom speed problem, it was just because I had installed to many POIs.

Now I just have the HTC-Plugin in german mode and z and y keys.
