Mate, look which section we are in. Development. What are you? The king who dictates what we do with our phones? The whole purpose of being here is to try software and develop software. Everyone knows the risk coming to XDA and XDA is not liable for any damage we do to our phones.
If you don't like the kernel, leave the thread and move on. Unlike you, some folks actually want the .2ghz increase. To each their own. There is no need to patronize folks.
Why don't you go make us the kernel? You seem to be able to talk the talk. If you can't, get off your high-horse and come back down to planet earth.
So you didnt even bother to read the front page. FFS...what is wrong with people do you have to be spoon fed everything

any one having this same problem? what to do?
Imilka what is required for aosp to support lp5 kernal.? Since your rom isn't packaged with a kernal and we flash lp1 before the rom... just curious? I'm fine with lp1 never had a sod and battery is great. Which cares about. 2ghz I'd probably underclock anyway ....

Thanks that's what i thought i only asked because imilka said he would update to support lp5?
So i looked in dev section and found chainfires lp5 thread and it looks like a rom repack so do i download and open the file in mobile Odin and flash kernal only? If i care to try it out...
Thanks

And since imilka already stated he will support LP5 the it's better to wait for him to release a new build
Ya ill probably just wait but i looked through his thread and cf says to just extract the zimage if you only want kernal so ill do that or wait ..

I had my first SOD today while on airplane mode. So much for SODs being modem related. *sigh*
Fact is that nobody really knows anything about why SODs occur, except for them being kernel related and a major complaint on every ICS-ROM based on the same Samsung leak.
I guess it's back to Gingerbread for now. I'll keep following imilka's progress and hope for another ICS leak that is more stable.
