Mate, look which section we are in. Development. What are you? The king who dictates what we do with our phones? The whole purpose of being here is to try software and develop software. Everyone knows the risk coming to XDA and XDA is not liable for any damage we do to our phones.

If you don't like the kernel, leave the thread and move on. Unlike you, some folks actually want the .2ghz increase. To each their own. There is no need to patronize folks.

Why don't you go make us the kernel? You seem to be able to talk the talk. If you can't, get off your high-horse and come back down to planet earth.

I agree 100% N7000 comes with 1400 standard. I do not see wy he does not like this kernel and the other from first leak he does like. Both are not for ower devices. Strange

Offcourse there is more batt drain, cpu is higher da

I'll update for LP5, even if I don't understand why you need it so much :)

Because we're hopeful it'll rid us from SODs. :)

By the way...

Some have claimed SODs are modem related, but I highly doubt it, as the modems keep working while the screens are frozen. I once had a SOD in the middle of a phone call. And flashing other modems didn't help either.

So it's most certainly related to the screen drivers, and it could have something to do with the screen difference among models.

Imilka what is required for aosp to support lp5 kernal.? Since your rom isn't packaged with a kernal and we flash lp1 before the rom... just curious? I'm fine with lp1 never had a sod and battery is great. Which cares about. 2ghz I'd probably underclock anyway ....

I just installed this great ROM last night..
I'm on LP5
Every thing is working fine on it, except there are two FC's..
1. Camera (and I read through the OP that there's no fix yet)
2. Google Play FC, and I can't believe open the Play Store! It works fine at the first 15 minutes, then never been able to open it!
Is there any fix for #2? I already flashed goosap 7 from the first page...

Thanks in advance..

Thanks that's what i thought i only asked because imilka said he would update to support lp5?

So i looked in dev section and found chainfires lp5 thread and it looks like a rom repack so do i download and open the file in mobile Odin and flash kernal only? If i care to try it out...

Thanks

Do if you only know what you are doing, but I'd suggest you don't, Chainfire himself recommends that..
And since imilka already stated he will support LP5 the it's better to wait for him to release a new build :)

I had my first SOD today while on airplane mode. So much for SODs being modem related. *sigh* :(

Fact is that nobody really knows anything about why SODs occur, except for them being kernel related and a major complaint on every ICS-ROM based on the same Samsung leak.

I guess it's back to Gingerbread for now. I'll keep following imilka's progress and hope for another ICS leak that is more stable.

Hi.
About sod's it is not kernel related.
I ve manage to have them also in shipped rom.
It is hardwhere related but expanded into kernel.
What i mean is that for any reason if you change something in this device you have to wipe many things.
Trying to find out why that happens i doscover some sequences to bypass that kind of problems.
The first and the best way is to just wipe everything in there(BUT EVERYTHING) and start from scratch.
For anyone that think that this is a very big story the less you can do is to backup you internal and external memory data into a folder of your pc, format sd,emmc, dalvik cache, cache partition, system, boot, data, do a wipe data factory reset and then flash what you want. At the root of sd live only in a folder the file for flash and after boot live the device to produce the nessesary files. After that put tje rest of your data but only files that have not include data in them. Photo music etc are ok hut not .android secure or lost.dir etc.
After flash in that order you will see that there are no sods or wake up delays os fcs except rom problems(and there you can blame rom or kernel).
The point of this is that easilly you can see not everyone have same problem but different each time and this is data related and that cor translated to hardware related as kernel meets other tweaks inside device and translate them defferent every time....
I hope that helps....

    Hello :)

I really don't like TouchWiz at all, so, when the first ICS sources became available, I started porting AOSP to our device.

There are still some major and many minor bugs, but ROM seems to be stable and usable.
Please look for buglist below, so you can decide, do you need to flash it or not.
I'll try to fix those bugs as soon as possible, so please, don't ask when something will be fixed, I really don't know :)

Description: This is clean and clear ICS (4.0.3) without any modifications. This is not CM, just AOSP. It may be used with tablet or with phone UI.

    @netchip

Sorry, but it's starting to annoy me a bit.

Please, if you have something to share with me - some bugfix or some thoughts - pm me.
But I don't care when you will release your build, when you will send it to your testers etc.
I don't want it to be posted here. If you want to discuss your own build - start your own thread. If you want to help me in development - pm me if you think you have something.

    Thank you.

    So, here's v07 - IMM76D 4.0.4 now.

    Changelog:

    1. Full rebuild based on 4.0.4 AOSP source code
    2. Fixed video recording up to 1080p.
    3. Changed to opensource OMX codecs by CM9 team, thanks a lot for your hard work guys.
    4. Fixed phone call screen bug
    5. Fixed settings FC in tablet mode (again yep)
    6. Added fonts for Phorostop touch, Kindle and other
    7. Removed NFC and apps depending on it such as Wallet.

Unfortunately, bug with stock mass storage mounting only internal partition remains.
I decided not to change it because I'm working on MTP and it's nearly fixed.

Please note - I've rebuilt nearly everything from stock, so there may be some hidden bugs I haven't noticed - report them please.

Ah, and the last thing - All additional archives such as tabletenable, and other AREN'T compatible with v07!
I'll make correct zips for tablet, capacitive buttons, etc soon.

    Full wipe recommended.

    Download:

    http://download.imilka.eu

I recommend you to download torrent version, but I also mirrored v07 to mediafire for those who can't or don't like to download via torrent.
