I've just installed the Kernel first, then the ROM, and just to be sure I re-installed the kernel after the rom was installed and I rebooted (without booting in the ROM).

It's my 2nd attempt and now it's stuck at the SE text logo AGAIN.

Screw it, I give up :rolleyes:

are you on locked BL or Unlock BL
coz i m on ULBL and dont have any problem...

Here is detailed process for both bootloaders

=> Things you need...

1. Download the Feralab 13.5 from http://hotfile.com/dl/152191000/10dc0f3/FeraLab_2.3.7_v13.5.zip.html

use IE or FIREFOX.....

2. Download the Kernel

DooMKernel for locked BL. - http://www.mediafire.com/?yvu93yb784k4o70

DooMKernel for Unlocked BL - Full OC - http://hotfile.com/dl/140881137/2ca86a3/X10_2.3.3_DooMKernel-v06-BootManager-v2.0.ftf.html

3. Rooted X10 and working Xrecovery
Medium OC -

that's it you don't need anyother files...


=> How to?

1. Take Backup of your memory card to your PC (Both Bootloader)

2. Format the memory card (Both Bootloader)

3. Put necessary files in SD card- ROM (Both Bootloader) + Kernel (locked Bootloader) + contact backup files (Optional for both bootloaders) + Application backup files....

4. Backup of your current ROM (Both Bootloader)

Locked Bootloader skip step 5 and continue with step 6

5. Unlock Bootloaders Only

(Download latest flashtool http://androxyde.github.com/Flashtool/)
Flash the DooMKernel using latest flashtool

6. Flash feralab v 13.5 via xrecovery as said it will take 4 to 5 minute
follow the command on screen...(Both Bootloader)

UnLocked BL skip step 7 and continue with step 8

7. Once u finish flash the kernel via xrecovery(only for locked bootloader)

8. reboot your phone
wait for 5 minute....
play with your phone
don't install anything, not even connect to wifi... (Both Bootloader)

8. Reboot your phone ......
open smanager and install the script as directed by feralab
still don't install anything, not even connect to wifi... (Both Bootloader)
and reboot your phone...

9. Wait for 2 minute after 2nd reboot .....
now u can install anything and everything you want.....(Both Bootloader)

ROM will take around 1 day to get settle as of my experience
u will get good battery life and improvement on battery after 1 day...
(Both Bootloader)

this is the thing as of my experience of installing the feralab from very 1st version i never got any problem untill now while installing fera's ROM hope this will help you....

for locked BL there is only one kernel not any medium OC or full OC for feralab so just download the one which is provided in the instruction.....

I think there is a few people having issues installing rom on locked BL phones, I would suggest to just unlock BL and use unlocked version, it's pretty easy and I think it's less problematic, if you are installing custom roms, kernels, and other stuff just unlock it and it will make your life easier...

yaa but to Unlock your Bootloader its quite complicated....

and for locked BL its working fine
my brother has locked BL and i am installing every version on his phone
never had any problem mate....

it's not hard just clicking on a unlock button?!!

I mean unlocked ver has other tweaks that locked version cant have, so I think people is just scared to do that, I don't know

LoL :D:D:D:D:D okay I dont think it was that easy but I remember I had to downgrade kernel then unlock it and then flash new kernel, but I have seen somebody was working on something, something like with an 'unlock' button? I definitely saw that somewhere?

If I had to unlock it again I couldnt remember it, I remember using 'plugin' feature in flashtool

Ive seen it too,but you had to bee on 2.1 to use it......and whos on that

Hey guys, just roll back to v13.4 and i install xperia s patch but i really hates the font. Too BIG for me ! So how to get the original font back. Help will be appreciated

Batt issue

Hi again,

I noticed that whenever I flash the kernel and the phone reboots I loose all the battery charge.:) I'm talking about going from 100% to 5%, the phone shows red light, and I have to full charge again? wiping batt stats through xrecovery does nothng?

Today i was'n sleeping even if i have exams... but i made ****ing crazy invention!)Ok.
v14 now will run on EXT4 file system,..yeah!:D finaly made it work...being dealing with it more than 3 hours ) I dont think it will work on locked bootloaders...i need one crazy tester who dont scare to brick his phone :D so... for those who dont know.. our phone is running yafffs2 file system by default...and ext4 is the latest **** which supports journaling so after i applied some tweaks for ext4 i got my I/O speed boooosted...yeah!))
Also.v14 has no more swap.. I implemented JIT v2 with Compcache. This stuff is much faster than swap and it dont consumes any physical memory..it actually compresses the used ram... so every 100 MB of used Ram will be easily compressed to ~76MB without any harm!!
Also. v14 will have fully working link2sd , fixed swiftkey, fb and i sholld test maps.
Also reduced rom size t 254 mb
tried to fix all issues...all libs are updated...rom is 2.3.9 now and shouldt be any issues with audio..
Also to free up data partition I moved some part of java sh*t to cache) (it will automatically free up and fill cache on usage) I got 62 F***ING FPS on boost script!!! Rom is rebuilt from 0 and heavily tweaked... i am testing it now and fixing small bugs..) Thanks. have fun!.

problem with 13.5

hi fera
i install the 13.5 rom on stock rom
first installing on 85% hang about 1 hour and i had to pull out battery and install the rom again.

in second installing the rom was successfully installed but after reboot on the kernel doom logo hanged and dont reboot.
for the third time i install the rom and was succed
with your instruction i reboot 3 time.
now it settle and work but have some problems:
1- when i install file it will reboot.
2- when charging if i work with phone like sending message it will be reboot
3- GPS not working correct
4- when i dont touch phone after 10 min automatically the screen light and then off and several time it happen.
please help me to solve this problems.
note: i install the rom on unlock bootlaoder and correctly flash the doomkernel

Next time asking for help please mention which kernel exactly you are using and which bootloader.
Seems that you're on locked bootloader.. So v13.5 is buggy for locked bootloaders. (but not v14)

v13.5 stocked on SE logo

Hi Fera, just installed v13.5 over v13.4 and i got stocked on SE logo have to take out battery to restart, flashed again form zero to v13.4 then installed v13.5 same thing happens, im on locked boot loader any suggestion

    Hello everybody. v11 will be a bit delayed cuz i'm a bit busy and i have toi study and feeling a bit thick and also i want to fix all bugs and due to i'm still trying to import lockscreen music widget. but rom is already rocking. new beautifull effects and overall view.. trying to make it stable with all the things it have also doing some experiments with kernel and bttery. was reading linux wiki a bit).
    about the discussion of my rom.
    I don't f***ing care what you say about it.First and first of all I make this rom for myself..to make it loved by me firstly, because when you do something for yourself, you will do it much better then for anybody else... so after i make any version for me), i juxt share it with you.. share with my work... but of cours i don't make it completely for me. I'm reading every post and try to make this rom good for all (including me) using your suggestions and wishes..watching to your bugreports. and i want to thank you all for that.Of course after every release i'm being nervous reading every post refreshing the page and waiting for users reactions..if they like what i've done or not. and of cource i'm getting sad when see that someone is not satisfied or got wlods for ex... or simply can't install properly...and also i'm gettig happy and glad when i see happy people. i like to make people happy...not sad... and not only with making roms... in real life...just go and smile to the stranger outside and make him a bit happy. So I share my work with you not to make you sad. some peaple when flash rom..start to find firstly bugs..not it's advances..and they start to think that's buggy rom withiout continuing to try. I wanted to leave xda and i already left it...but for one day :D cuz i miss you guys and i miss my work..i like the thing i do and it gives me some kind of pleasure..and every work you do with love will be a good work.
    In v11 there will be superb sound improvement...f***ing cool design and animations. keep trying to port Pdroid and make charging led to off on full charge. also keep trying to port media plyer lockscreen widget...xperia s keyboard and mms bug fix(keep on trying to fix) and more and more tweaks and improvements. so please be patient..this release gonna be i thenk the best i ever released... so it will take time to test it and improve. hope you like it. thank you.

    Juiced my brain and made some great end in Gingerbread series

    I will leave xda somewhere in 10th June so now lets rock :cool:
    the rest time will be for ICS and CM7 and then I go)...have to work somewhere cuz I will damn die here) need some money :D
    Testing rom now and when will say DONE! - then its DONE :D
    Change log of v20 will die with me when time comes :D:D so..
    But I think you all will notice the changes by your own ;)
    Believe me its big) all is fixed and updated..

    If you're asking yourself or me...WTF maan? why your rom is paid... I will tell you here...
    If you say that paid rom is not a good idea and you always make or download rom for free..i will say that it is your business.. Also rom will be free for all in 3 days from release.
    v13.5 version of my rom was a realy hard work. I made some unique for stock roms things in this version and it was pretty hard to do but I succeed. So firstly please respect my efforts. The other reason is...that rom is extremily stable and fast...the perfect rom... I think you can remember my previous paid rom..it was also very cool.. and i dont make sh*t paid.. i make it paid only if it realy deserves it.
    The other and mostly main reason is that i'm poor..realy... i'm a simple student studying abroad alone ...4000 km far from my home and i can't work here somewhere in mc'donalds cuz they asking turkish passport which i don't have sure.. I extremily need money. I hoard it for my plane ticket which is very expensive.. (529 f****ng dollars) and it is very big miney for me..my family is not rich also...my mother is housewife and my father is simple carpenter..and we have 3 children(including me :)) and the only reason i could study abroad is my brain and efforts..otherwise..i couldnt study at all..
    So please respect my work..if you don't have money or can't donate just wait 3 days..not so much..
