Why don't you just use Windows Phone Device Manager. Touchxperience is already installed in this ROM or just dl WPDM to your Yuki/XBmod ROM which will auto install Touchxperience to the phone.

Upgrade to version 7.9

sorry if the question has already been answered.
I'm using version 7.8. since the release of version 7.9, i'm wondering if i should upgrade.
what is the main difference between the two versions? Is there any major bug fix with the latest version?
If i install 7.9 , do I need to request a new activation code from Microsoft or I can use the same one I'm currently using on 7.8?

please read the first thread for version information. is it that difficult since you downloaded 7.8 in the first place? your activation code is good for "life".

every rom thread has version info in the first thread written by the chef.

when i tap turn on the wifi, it just searching only.. no dotted line shows on the upper screen, i turn off and turn on once again.. the dotted lines shows and now it detects the wifi router.. bug??

I got the same problem here.
Flashed my HD2 few days ago from BTTF-Rom to Pdaimatejam-Rom v7.9.
Everything works smooth and fast and at the moment I only notice the same problem with Wifi.
I will test and install the rest of it over the weekend, but it looks quit nice for the moment.

no problems here.

Two things can do this, firstly you've buggered something up, ive found if some reg entries are set incorrectly it can make it crash, Bluetooth can do it too, the Leo advanced did it when I changed the themes by mistake then attempted to put it back to normal, I couldn't do it and probably made it worse hence the crash, reflash and all was well again.

the other thing could be your SD card

just because it worked before doesn't mean it will always work so don't assume its not that if you've had no bother before.

Sounds_Fixs.cab causes problems

Firstly, thanks for a great ROM...

Secondly, I have used WP7-Update-Cab-Sender to install some useful XBMod cabs and they worked great.

Had some sound issues so installed Sounds_fixs.cab using it too.
Now most installed application that previously worked fine, won't start.

MS Office, IE Browser and email apps still work, but no installed apps such as Battery Status, etc. will run... when you click on Tile, screen just refreshes back to the menu.

Perhaps Sounds_fixs.cab has screwed the unlock or certificates?

Is there any way to uninstall Sounds_Fixs.cab?

HTC HD2 notification for SMS and miss calls

pdaimatejam, thanks for this awesome WP7,
just wanted to ask and i have looked all over and could not find it
is there anyway to get the SMS notification led to work or make the keys
glow when you get a miss call or sms or something that will show me that i
have received a SMS.

please that would be awesome.

Can not send CAB to PDAImatejam_ V7.8

I have been on V7.9 for a while, and liked it a lot. I was able to send the "Xboxmod_taskbar_cabs_in_23_languages.cab" to the ROM after the flash.

Today I decided to go back to V7.8 because all I wanted is English language. So I did the whole nine yard: MTTY Task 29, flash WM6.5, flash MAGLDR, then the V7.8 ROM (except I change the radio to 5.61). Flashing went flawlessly.

Then I started to send the same "Xboxmod_taskbar_cabs_in_23_languages.cab" to the ROM, but it simply wouldn't flash. It says "Error code: 800B010A, A certificate chain could not be built to the root authority". Can any pro shed some light for me as to how to resolve this issue? Thanks.

First of all, I would suggest DEV_SKIN_XBMOD_v4_Multilang.cab over just the Xboxmod_taskbar_cabs_in_23_languages.cab.

This is for anyone who wants to flash Yuki/XBmod cabs to PDAImatejam's ROM. The best time to flash Yuki/XBmod's cabs is to do it after a hard reset before going through the set up process. Otherwise, you will run into issues with either the flashing itself or other apps not working.

Another thing is the best time to flash OS related cabs, like Sound Fix.cab, is after a hard reset or immediately after flashing the ROM before at the GET STARTED screen. This way you're less likely to run into issues with apps already installed. So...flash cabs during a ROM clean install BEFORE installing any apps.

Again, flash the cabs from Yuki/XBmod immediately after a hard reset AND BEFORE starting the set up process (that is, at the GET STARTED screen).

Also, be aware not all of the Yuki/XBmod cabs can be applied to PDAImatejam's ROM. You'll run into conflicts!!!!!

I personally have reverted both HD2's from PDAImatejam's back to Yuki/XBmod's ROM. Although I haven't tested out LeoAdvanced 1.0.6 yet, but I am able to use the original 1.0.1 version without problems. Actually, really don't have a need for any of the new features of 1.0.6 on Yuki/XBmod's ROM. Most of the features are already there such as remapping your hard keys to one of the various mapping cabs available, and the SP1 features for the the camera and such.

I have also been able to install and use most of PDAImatejam's tweak apps like SMSBackup, Reinstaller, Restart/Shutdown, etc. on Yuki/XBmod's ROM.

Does anyone know why the proximity sensor on my HD2 doesn't seem to work when I'm in a call (when the display should turn off)

It worked flawlessly in WM6.5.
