Yes...indirectly it does...devs will end up being tempted to "new" phones and this thread will eventually die. Kenny, others and I have discussed this before in another of his threads, and I occassionally like to bring up the obvious about the impending apocalypse.

Kenny's theme is stock on this ROM. You might want to try both and see which one you like better. They're really pretty similar. Kenny's theme has more blue. The ICS theme has more black. I use a solid black background to save battery, so having a little color is nice to me. Just personal preference and a matter of which icons you like better.
Home button key not working
Coming from clean ginger mtd with fc19 modem. Wiped data, then cache, then dalvik, then installed 2.1. Home key does not work. Any ideas?

Additionally...the rebirth green theme works, so does the purple monster oozing green one...I would love to find a neon orange one for this, if anyone feels up to it that is....

I have been poking around with version of the viper synergy theme. It will be some of the theming from the EH06 version and parts from the ET4G. Gonna try and fuse the two together and make a nice orange and green theme out of it

I'll take any request just need to find the time to make it happen.

Clean install, full wipe data, cache and dalvik. So that's not it. Must be a bad download because I flashed it twice and same result. Google contacts also would not load, sync or work. Will redownload tonight and try again.

Don't need to wipe data. Just Dalvik and cache. I don't know why it does that but it is really particular about that. You can flash 2.0 first and then just wipe cache and dalvik and flash 2.1. That will work. Or you could try set a few things up to build data then just wipe dalvik and cache and reflash.

Maybe Ed. That drove me crazy. Try it without wiping data. Just wipe dalvik and cache. Being a leak it seems to have some quirks. I think it is barfing at EL30 kernels. I wish Samsung would release a later source already.

I shouldn't say anything yet and don't want to jinx it.
But I think The People deserve a hint.

If coming from something other than an FC09 ROM I highly recommend you wipe data, cache and dalvik and not restore data, also you should be on CWM 5.0.2.7 or higher.

He pulled the FC19 system and pushed me to release it..LOL. I will post the odexed stock versions he sent me in another thread this weekend.
It is highly recommended to flash this from V2.0 because something wierd happens on 20% of the flashes, the home key doesn't work without this fix.
The first thing noticeable is the Sprint Connectons Optimizer is removed by Samsung.
I themed this with the lessbluebox version, changed the bootani, changed the wallpaper, put in all the mods we all love, added the silent camera without the low battery shutoff and Gtalk with video.
All the stock apps (bloat) have been pulled and put into a flashable.
This has everything else that 2.0 has with the same thanks to all those Devs.
You MUST wipe cache and Dalvik or bad things happen (drove me crazy).
The BML issues are fixed, Boot to recovery works and bootanimation can be seen.

MTD version will of course convert you18For anyone with battery issues please change i/o scheduler to anything besides cfq. Cfq does sleep but not as well as the other governors do on some phones. You also might want to wipe your battery stats with cwm (I know it has been stated this is a bad thing to do, but it has cured battery issues for me) and also pinpoint what is eating your battery up... I have been running the bml version on my epic for 6 hours and it has only dropped 9% with minimal use.
