Thread cleaned

There's an awful lot of nonsense being posted in this thread that has absolutely nothing to do with Development. Knock it off. Stay on topic and the thread remains open.

Ok, last chance. If I have to clean up any more complaining or bickering this thread is over.

I've just installed V8 to my Note and it's absolutely brilliant. However, I have an issue with charging the phone.

With the phone powered off, when I connect the power lead the battery display shows on the screen but shows as empty. This stays on the screen throughout the charging period, still as empty, and remains when the lead is disconnected.

I then cannot power on the phone without removing the battery! The display of the empty battery on the screen remains until the battery is removed.

I guess the way round this is to charge with the phone powered on but that's not always practical or required.

Does anyone else experience this issue? Is there a fix for it please?

Thanks in advance for your time and help with this. :)

I've always had this isuue too. It's not big problem since the phone is charging.but the only way to turn it on is restarting the phone. U don't need to take ur battery out, just hold the power button for 10 sec until the phone restarts. Make sure u disconnect the power cord otherwise ur phone will restart to the same charging screen.

Yep I hade this problem too. Think this is some kind of ROM related. Don't know for sure, byt hink that the developer couldn't do something about it.

Thanks for V08 ICS AOSP

This release is awesome! My first try to install ICS on my Note.

Thank you very much for making this more stable now.

But I have some problem with the internal SD card. I want to switch back to no tablet UI for a while, but when I boot with clock work MOD, the SD folders looks the same as external SD Card.

How do I access the native boot screen instead of ClockWork MOD?

Also how do I enable the USB drive for ICS?

Is there a way to remove the boundary that contains the apps and make it extend all the way to full screen?

how about disabling the soft buttons?

Great job again you guys are great!

In latest release internal sd card and external sd card are swapped, so remember that when you boot to recovery

When you connect your phone to USB, pull down the notification panel and press "USB Connected" then on "Turn on USB Storage" (if I understood this question correctly)

Use other launchers like Nova or Apex and increase the Homescreen grid size and you'll utilize the whole screen

There is an app called Gesture Control that can allow you to hide the bottom bar when wanted with a gesture you assign

Hope this helps ;)

    Hello :)

I really don't like TouchWiz at all, so, when the first ICS sources became available, I started porting AOSP to our device.

There are still some major and many minor bugs, but ROM seems to be stable and usable.
Please look for buglist below, so you can decide, do you need to flash it or not.
I'll try to fix those bugs as soon as possible, so please, don't ask when something will be fixed, I really don't know :)

Description: This is clean and clear ICS (4.0.3) without any modifications. This is not CM, just AOSP. It may be used with tablet or with phone UI.

msged imilka last night and worked out that i will make 1 post and put my mods there and he will link to that post in OP so here goes :p

as with everyone else on here, flash at your own risk!
yes these mods work with v01 v02 and v03 so have fun :p

    Instructions: flash via CWM, reboot.

    Battery Mod: DOWNLOAD
(battery mod v1) (battery mod v2) (battery mod v2.1) (battery mod v3a) (battery mod v3b) (v3b+rubik transitions) (v3b+chaos transitions) (back to stock)
    Screenshots:
    V1 - V2 - V3a - V3b - v3b+rubik - v3b+chaos
quick zip to give you a nicer battery in system bar+more.

    Capacitive Buttons: DOWNLOAD (disable) (enable)

    @netchip

Sorry, but it's starting to annoy me a bit.

Please, if you have something to share with me - some bugfix or some thoughts - pm me.
But I don't care when you will release your build, when you will send it to your testers etc.
I don't want it to be posted here. If you want to discuss your own build - start your own thread. If you want to help me in development - pm me if you think you have something.

    Thank you.

    So, here's v07 - IMM76D 4.0.4 now.

    Changelog:

    1. Full rebuild based on 4.0.4 AOSP source code
    2. Fixed video recording up to 1080p.
    3. Changed to opensource OMX codecs by CM9 team, thanks a lot for your hard work guys.
    4. Fixed phone call screen bug
    5. Fixed settings FC in tablet mode (again yep)
    6. Added fonts for Phorostop touch, Kindle and other
    7. Removed NFC and apps depending on it such as Wallet.

Unfortunately, bug with stock mass storage mounting only internal partition remains.
I decided not to change it because I'm working on MTP and it's nearly fixed.

Please note - I've rebuilt nearly everything from stock, so there may be some hidden bugs I haven't noticed - report them please.

Ah, and the last thing - All additional archives such as tabletenable, and other AREN'T compatible with v07!
I'll make correct zips for tablet, capacitive buttons, etc soon.

    Full wipe recommended.

    Download:

    http://download.imilka.eu

I recommend you to download torrent version, but I also mirrored v07 to mediafire for those who can't or don't like to download via torrent.
