Looks like Turbo scroll is still there. Small sacrifice to make. I can live with it for sure.

I hope they tame Turbo scroll before this goes to production! It's been the most annoying part of the last two or three updates. (Seems like this could be fixed by tweaking a file somewhere...)

The scrolling in FD16 seemed much better but quickly flipped back to turbo in FD19. Maybe just me but i do recall a few others noticing it with FD16 as well.

To the uninformed, what's turbo scrolling? Is it just wanting to scroll a little and the page just scrolls fast to the bottom or top?

I just ran an unscientific test on speakeasy with fd24/19 with caulkulin 2.8.1. At 115pm 24 was .40. 19 at 118pm was .80. Yeah its slow but I was just curious. 3g btw.

Edit: Ran test again. 19 was .83 and 24 was .40. The second run, fd24 was so slow that after 2 minutes of waiting for speakeasy to load, it still wasn't finished. Fd24 was giving me better signal but much slower speeds. I'm going back to fd19 for now.

Sounds like we are getting close to a "final" (as final as these things ever get) build for this phone. I look forward to reports of battery life and any bugs that may come up over the course of this thread. One other question: did anyone need to do the "GPS trick" where you get a lock before booting into ODIN/recovery or did it work regardless?

Calkulin, you are great and thank for all hard work and excellent roms. Can you add VoiceDailer in your ICS rom? Not Vlingo, it is terrible. VoiceDialer works much better without data need. Thanks

I hope they crank the notification audio up some.
At it's highest,it's half as loud as GB.
Thanks Calk!

When will kernel source be public so we know when we will start seeing some real tweaks?

This ROM is completely stock with exception that root/busybox is included and it uses a stock, slightly modded kernel. The kernel is modded to have mass storage by default, init.d support and it has an unsecured stock recovery(allows flashing of zips).

All must be flashed through recovery console

Factory reset \ Data format is HIGHLY recommended(use FORMAT ALL attached before flashing)

Are we going to see this as a base for your rom calk?

Here is a flashable zip with a ICS theme for the status bar. It will only theme the status bar. Use only on Calk's De-Odexed Rom. Flash when you flash the rom. Or change kernel and flash, its up to you. Just make sure to wipe cache & dalvik before flashing. Enjoy.

EDIT** I missed the WiFi images. I have replaced them with ICS blue ones. Sorry about that.
