Because the changelog for 0.3.2 indicated working video recording.
He changed it now of course.
Someone send me build.prop of this Rom...
its probably sdk changed sign keys while editing build.prop otherwise I never encountered a single FC in my Ray port.. or maybe he is using different Google apps... but all in all that is easy...

I will fix it this evening, or just unpack the zip. Now followong a lecture so not able to help.

I even tried it with copying all the apps in the ray rom and the ray build.prop, but the problem persist. Looks like I messed up something else besides apps and build.prop.
just copy system/app, system/framework , system/bin and system/xbin folders and build.prop exactly as they are in my ROM. they are the same in all Phones... u can modify the remaining folders for adjustment to Neo...
Secodnly, Gapps have their Libs.... check in latest Gapps and copy those libs from my ROM too... mismatched libs can cause this error too..
and do full wipe...

Update V0.4.X: did everything again. Still a lot of work to do, but this version is actually a bit usable.
Bugs:
- occasional force close
- Most hardware keys don't work
- Inverted camera
- Camcorder not working
- Messages app not working
- build.prop not edited, shows as Xperia Arc

Damn.. once again someone rates a Developers Thread 1 star... its not a virus or something thats gonna kill your phone..
Although I am not involved in this ROM development but I think the guy sdk16420 is just sharing his stuff with u guys and he is not asking for something in return.. its Free and I know how much time he might have spent on it and it just takes u one second of woring rating to put all efforts in vain...
So loosers, rate a thread keeping in mind that dev will loose nothing... he found something good and shared...
@sdk, I will compile the ROM for you myself toight or tomorow... once this FC is fixed its easy to manage thereafter...

This is a port of jjdoctor's AOKP ROM for the Xperia Ray.
HUGE thanks to jjdoctor for his ROM and for his kind help in porting this.
Bugs
- FM Radio
- Video recording FC
- Camera is upside down, to fix this, download the zip under 'Downloads'
- Most likely HDMI
- Reboot option in power menu not working
- Flash led (not in TeslaLED, camera, or built-in torch)
Instructions:
- Put all necessary zip archives on your SD card (or do it later using the mount sd card option in recovery)
- Flash any compatible kernel and make a nandroid backup
- Choose Wipe data and Wipe cache
- Install the zips
- Reboot (takes several minutes)
- Turn phone off, and boot again, you will see that the wallpaper is changed now.
- ROM's ready to use!
Warning: mobile data is enabled by default. To prevent using mobile data, take out your simcard before booting.

i will post link here to my test kernel for 3rd compiled with small fix once i got highspeed connection. to support your aokp rom
