i really wish i could help a bit more instead of just beta testing, but the only computer available for my use is my school laptop which blocks access to both the bios and cmd so i can install ubuntu or use the cmd for adb to test and port

Just a quick question if I buy a third party dock or possibly the HTC titan dock according to another thread fits.perfectly as the sxl has no official dock will the car app automatically open or will I have to manually open it

You will have to manually open it unfortunately.

I've been using it all day, and really like it. I have a couple of minor issues though, just thought I'd mention it, it may be a ROM fault, or something I've done. Please don't interpret it as criticism, cos I really appreciate your work and love what you've done.

During game play of Life Is Crime (installed from backup using titanium backup) occasionally is starts to lag, then just closes itself. Seems random and I cant find a pattern, I'm guessing it's clashing with something in the background such as mail.

The other thing, which may or may not be related, twice in the last day of using it, it has rebooted itself. I cant remember what i was doing the first time, but second time I was typing an sms message. The screen went black, then the beats audio page with red swirls came on.

If I can help at all I'd love to, but don't know how.

Brilliant feedback mate, you've tried to let us know what you have been doing when these things happened at that always helps.

My suggestion is that games will be a bit hit and miss at present due to some of the libs and lack of g-sensor so some games features will fail or not work at all.

Random reboots tend to be low memory. Try checking task manager every now and again to see what's running.

I think once we have time, or someone does, they can use the official ICS to completely rebuild the base of this and make it super stable and maybe sprt camera preview.

Maybe try others ROMs, if you haven't already, see if that game error happens again. :)

I have same issue mate. On sense 4 gameloft games start up fine but gameplay stops as soon as it starts I.e. assassins creed and spiderman unltimate mayhem. NFS starts and plays but starts sticking during play. All this is due to what Ben said and until we have kernel.sources we can't build a proper kernel to run this

Thanks for the responses ben and shingers. Its not a major problem, and I can live with it so far. I thought it may of been issues with bravia engine or memory allocation, but guess that shows how little knowledge is .dangerous.

Gonna stick with it for now, my days of being a cereal flasher died with my hd2 lol

    Yes we have long beards, silly hats and occasionally spar (with words).

    This is a Beta at the moment, so do not kang us about updates; what's working or not. Look below, if it's not there then try it. Let us know and we will update accordingly.

    We have released these in beta form so people can try them and we believe that they are useable now.
    Please Please don't post silly comments saying the things we've already listed don't work, lets try to keep comments productive to help us or help others...    ​

    This is a port from the Incredible S version ported over by me :D​

    SD Mount (for this to work you need to turn USB debugging off before you connect to PC)

    Themes (you may have some problems, but thats a MIUI problem and not the rom)

    What Doesn't Work:
    MIUI 4 hasn't got a stable release yet so some of the problems will be MIUI based and not this rom

    MIUI 4 Beta V1

    Mirror Thanks once again to JoeVoo (remember this guy does this for free so just click on an add or two ;))

    How to Install

    1. Root your Device and Get Recovery - Use one of these tutorials: Vertigo or Shingers5.
    2. Complete Wipe through CWM or Flash BinDroid Total Wipe.
    3. In CWM, Wipe Data, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik and Battery Stats.
    4. Install .zip file, reboot and hopefully enjoy.

    I have made some progress in porting full sense 4.0 with full 3D weather and widgets ,will show some screenshoots :)

    We've got some Good News for the Sense 4 people... We've managed to get the WiFi working (thanks to some good advice from Memnoc over on the DHD forums)

    We're still working on everything else, just thought we'd release this as an update for all you people now ;)

    Wow that's not good. I think we may have been a bit hasty getting new device so I am gonna get my xl back so if anything start banging updates out. Sorry about any bad feeling or negative vibes but it shows xl forum isn't dead and we have passionate people in here. I really hope that one x tool sorts s-off for us as well and we should have 4ext recovery too. Now let's put all our differences aside and get things back on track
