Interesting, this PDroid stuff, TemasekImmediatly downloaded it ... if it really works, that's a very nice addition! One question: Is Voodoo out? Can't launch my voodoo apps anymore and the LG being one of the few phones with a decent DAC should have it built in?
You need a voodoo supported kernel. The kernel that comes with the KANG build doesn't support voodoo. Btw voodoo for GB is only amplifying the loudness, nothing more.
If u really wants, grab any custom kernels and u will have voodoo (but you still need the app from Play Store).
Porting in-progress. Don't expect success though
There's a number of conflicts because of my cherry-pickings. I will try resolve it. I think many others are better in this than me

As per request by Litderose, here is the build with the following items. Pls note that I may have ported it poorly.
NOTE:
Upon bootup, your status bar will look BLURRY. You are required do the following. A reboot is required.
CM Settings -> Interface -> Status bar tweaks -> Status bar appearance -> Set it to transparent (which is CM's default).
But in this tweak the default is Theme, that may be the reason for BLURRY, but I cannot confirm. Once u set to transparent, upon reboot, your status bar will be back.
I would like to hear your feedback if possible. To continue with this tweak or not? Let me know.

I failed to set this

to

with your rom my phone came the first time over 2 days with medium usage (calls, sms, mp3, gps, internet) using vadonka v2 kernel.

Mine don't have FC but doesn't look right. Its fix but I've yet to compile. Its way last my sleeping time....2am!

OK, download, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, installing #96, reboot, wait... wait... and yes, status-bar blurry, change status-bar setting and REBOOT.
And then... YES !!! YOU MADE IT !!!
My status-bar is now transparent, but where's the clock ?
An idea : going to CM Settings -> Interface -> Status bar tweaks -> clock color -> pick a color...
AND THE CLOCK APPEARS IN A CENTERED POSITION !

FYI I tested custom colors, changing clock position and color, everything is ok for me.
But i need more tests to be sure.
Anyway, for me, this tweak is near perfect !

Take a video in low light, upload it to your PC (or mac) and loot at the frame rate. If it is 30 you are ok. If it is much less then you are on stock CM. (also the bits/sec are much higher)
I'll upload the fixed build in the morning. Will be much better.
Also forgotten to post the credits due for this tweak.

Something important I must say : to enable the transparent status-bar, i had to install a live wallpaper...
I can't remeber where I read this tip (maybe cougarcougar thread ?), but it works (I don't know why...).
So I choose "Slideshow Wallpaper" on the market, put my wallpaper in a directory and choose this directory.
And it's done !
If someone managed to get the transparent status-bar without this tip, he can post here.

NOTE
This is an UNOFFICIAL build of CM7 ( CyanogenMod 7 ) for p990 and by NO means this is my ROM. I am just compiling from CM Source and 100% credits goes to TeamDouche, the device maintainer of p990 Ricardo Cerqueira and all other coders who contributed to CyanogenMod.
This is similar to a nightly from CM but has some e8tra goodies baked in. If you can't handle some things possible being broken, please don't use this and then complain to me for building it.
NEW builds will be uploaded to http://temasek.hopto.org first. The other 2 sites will be uploaded with the builds at a later time. The new download site courtesy of Vadonka
- I'm back doing CM7 unofficial builds for now but pls do NOT expect daily updates. My day job currently is a hell lot busier than ever.

With effective #100, all builds are with PDroid frameworks. PDroid is the privacy protection framework (see svyat's PDroid thread). All the credit goes to svyat. Also credit to pastime1971 for his CM7.2 update patch of PDroid.

well, you gotta love all kinds of possible customization in android aka linux.
beside /system/build.prop (which is updated every flash), /data/local.prop can be used to define any custom property.
i moved "ro.telephony.nitz=GMT" to /data/local.prop, which will stay on your phone (almost) permanently.
now you don't have to flash NITZGMT.zip every time you flash cm. just data_local_prop_NITZ_GMT.zip once.
