Having wifi issues, needs reboot to connect to wifi when coming out of sleep.

Also battery drain. Cm9 currently better, much less bugs

Sent from my GT-P7310 using XDA Premium HD app
I'm having the same wifi reconnect issue after coming out of sleep. A restart fixes it, but I can also get it to reconnect by turning the wifi off and on a couple of times. My "keep wifi on during sleep" is set to "always." I'm going to try a keep wifi alive/on always app, but it seems the "keep wifi on during sleep" setting being set to "always" should be enough. Also, I think it's only after long sleeps, maybe more than 30-60 minutes?, I haven't kept track.

For those who are using [ROM][ICS][AOKP]Galaxian-Soup[GT-7310/7300][r1] who thinks usb computer connection don't work, well it does..here's how
1. go to settings
2. storage
3. menu or option (three little square on the upper right corner)
4. usb computer connection then tick "media device(MTP)"

at least i think that is the solution

come on dude. i'm sure all the devs here have a real life :D

Pfft. Life? Who cares what they 'want' to do. Don't they understand that by providing any contribution to the Internet that they are legally bound to maintain and keep said contribution up to date within seconds of new releases/information/code/etc. for the rest of their life? I believe it's clearly outlined in the XDA TOS.

Let's get to work!

Installed M5 version of Galaxian Soup. So far, it seems to be fairly similar to the previous version. My wifi icon is still cutoff on the right side. Also, I am still having a weird SystemUI crash problem when running the ConnectBot app. If I try to click on the "Menu" button at the bottom, as soon as it pops up I get that error message and System UI has to restart itself. It comes back fine every time, but will crash as soon as I click it again. Had the same problem on b34, and was hoping it would be fixed in M5. Never had this issue on HC.

I am using the 3G version, installed with full wipe. Absolutely no issues in the last 2 hours of extensive use. Specially none of those, mentioned above.

Thanx guys :)

and still no update for 3g from galaxian soup.
    oh man...

i'm pretty sure most of the devs have a real life, job & better things to do than build roms for each release...
be patient. its free! if you don't like it figure out how to build and compile the rom yourself.
sorry if i sound kinda mean but people complaining about devs not releasing stuff, when the devs do it in their own time and for free kinda pisses me off...

With the greatest of respect, I did read all the posts, I've been following since the beginning. I was wondering with the AOKP folks being on build 32, whether or not we would be getting an upgrade.

Yes, I have a concern like everyone else about the camera but I know that's a problem across all ROM's. However if this one wasn't being developed, then it would not have a camera...not ever. There is no law that a ROM has to be developed forever.

We've been working on the camera for all gtab 8.9s (we would immediately share with all rom builders), but its not as easy as snapping your fingers. I personally have spent 12+ hours attempting to adapt the ICS wrapper (which has little to no documentation and isn't even for our SOC).

Blame samsung for their lack of expediency in releasing the source code or a rom. Once that happens (or a miracle of programming genius) we will add the camera support post haste.

For the record we will continue to develop this and the AOSP rom (and perhaps another), we have the experience to bring you quality. We hope you continue to appreciate our effort's, my build env is fixed so updates will come faster.

    Ciao
