when will it be for lumia 800!?? wen!!
we have locked bootloaders!!
Dude, just calm down already. I can see your posts in this thread and the dev thread, and they're all pretty much the same as this one...
The developers are working on it. If you have useful stuff to contribute then go ahead. But posting the same thing over and over again won't make it come any faster...
Hi lads,
It looks like I screwed up, phone doesn't even vibrate on any HW key combination (dd wrote about 1100 bytes, then outputted error)
Is there for me some way to recover the phone and write back original ROM?
...or should I take it to the Nokia service center and let the pros do their job?

Can somebody please help me clarify, if my lumia 800 can be unlocked or not. It has hw revision 2.3, was never flashed with Nokia care suite, but was updated to 12070 fw with zune? The thing is I tried the volume up + power button and it just booted normally after I let the buttons for. And if it is which rom version should I flash to get this functionality?
Thanks
You can only unlock the Lumia 800 only if your phone had unlock/Qualcomm bootloader, aleast for now.
Read 1st post of this thread, info is there.
Yes I read it a few times and did the "test" to see if it has the qualcomm or nokia bootloader, but when I do it and attach to a point running linux, there is no mention of qualcomm or DLOAD, so I'm wondering/asking if I should downgrade to an older version of rom (before 11500), to try it again?
Thanks again.
No matter what I do, I cannot get the hard reset button combination to work with the Nokia Lumia 710. I can successfully get into the Qualcomm disk mode, but I just can't get out of it without pulling the battery.
I tried the power button for 10 seconds, then power+voldwn+camera until vibrate, then release power and it reboots. None of these things respond at all, in any combination I try.
Has there been an update to how the 710 handles a hard reset?
Thanks!
Can I install or flash lumia with nokia n8 firmware if yes tell me in detail how I can if no then why I can't and is there any other method

*** Compiling the LK Android bootloader ***
** Tested on Ubuntu 11.10 with Lumia 710 **
1) Get the toolchain and install:
wget https://sourcery.mentor.com/public/gnu_toolchain/arm-none-linux-gnueabi/arm-2009q1-203-arm-none-linux-gnueabi-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.bz2
sudo tar xvf arm-2009q1-203-arm-none-linux-gnueabi-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.bz2 --directory /opt/
2) Compile the bootloader:
PATH=/opt/arm-2009q1/bin:$PATH TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX=arm-none-linux-gnueabi- PROJECT=msm7630_surf make EMMC_BOOT=1
3) Get your Lumia into diagnostics mode (turn it on using VOL UP + VOL DOWN + POWER)
4) BACKUP EVERY SINGLE FILE FROM THE 150MB PARTITION! (Just to be safe)
5) Replace the image/emmcboot.mbn file with your freshly compiled LK bootloader
cp <repo dir>/build-msm7630_surf/EMMCBOOT.MBN /media/<mount point>/image2/emmcboot.mbn
6) Unmount the bootloader partition from your PC and pull the phone's battery
7) Turn on, wait a few moments, and plug the phone to the PC
8) Test the fastboot connection:
fastboot devices
fastboot getvar version
Yes you are right, I had checked that too,
