The ARM11 (ARMv6) APK you have there wasn't working, so I built it myself and thought I'd share: Rapidshare, Mediafire.
Tested on my Republic Wireless Optimus S (LG LS670 AOSP 2.3.5/CM7).

I built a version for A9 without NEON.
It is for the Tegra 2.
It has the menu button working properly.
Everything works (even *some* hardware decoding). h.264 streams have trouble with hardware decoding.
This was built against ndk v8. ndk v7c had the "menu" problem for some reason.

lock up on library import
I get a lock up when it tries to import my library when it hits a certain .m4a. also, no settings button, and i heard this was fixed w a recent update. what do? to be fair its a huge library, like 20gb

No but I got a "false-positive" notification from an anti-piracy routine check, since my work has been reposted on tons of websites and hosters like Mediafire are watched by the majors...
