I saw the ROCK Light & Cool case for the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus but afraid to go for it since I'm not sure if it'll fit the GTab 2.

I'm looking for a folio case that won't add too much bulk. And something that isn't faux leather. Any suggestions?

update: I've submitted a suggestion for Speck to make a case for the GTab 2
If you could give your support by voting it up or adding to it, I'd appreciate it! Speck GTab 2 7.0 suggestion

I've also contacted TridentCase to see if they have any plans on making any cases for the GTab 2 as well.

i got this slip-case, $8 prime, samsung OEM with a little pull-tab to pop it out. good enough for a cheap fix and it fits perfectly.

I've got that one too. It's nice.

Dimensions of the Tab2 7 are basically identical to the Tab 7 plus

I threw on a vote for the Speck case too but highly doubt we'll see one concidering we can't even get them for the hottest selling mobile phones outside of the iCrap.

Do you guys know of any TPU cases for them? I'd really love to get one of those for my wife's Tab2 7in but have been coming up short. I may try a Tab Plus and just see how it goes but haven't decided yet.

The Rock case looks great too by wonder if its going to fit....

I didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount on a case -- so I took the suggestion (not sure where I read it), and ordered this $10 dollar case (no tax + free shipping):

Poetic(TM) Slimbook PU Leather Stand Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 PLUS

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300703718991#ht_2969wt_1163

Thoughts:

Works perfectly! Light, "slim-profile" design, snug fit, solid (firm) construction. The only ports that the case blocks is the mic and the IR (both of which I don't use).

Does the cover on that one fold all the way back (180)?

No, it arches the device at two angles with the pic below being the flattest - its quite comfortable assuming you like your tablet in landscape.

Oh, I like that one. Wish I had seen that before I bought this one. Oh well! This one is nice because of the zip top, and it fits it perfectly. However, for the benefit of doubt I wasn't able to use it with a silicone skin.

As I also travel, I figured I would buy these too. They are very sturdy. Only issue is you have to carry them around! HTH.
