Is there a way to disable ZRAM without reinstalling everything?
Is there a way to disable ZRAM without reinstalling everything?
I think deleting 140_zram file from /system/etc/init.d and reboot should be enough...
Daekin: I am on a TMOUS Sensation 4G. I have done a full clean wipe, and I have installed everything as your directions have said and I am still stuck on the white HTC bootup screen.....
Not sure what I am doing wrong here :-(

Detailed instruction alert - your data will be lost, so make sure you have backups. And this will be for cLK, as that is what I use.
- Format your SD Card on your computer (Fat 32, default cluster size), and copy the Sense of Eclipse zip file to it. Insert it in to your phone
- Get the HD2 NAND Toolkit from here: http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=19931919&postcount=501 and install it, have it open
- Power up your phone holding the Vol-Down key to get the tri-color screen, connect it using the USB cable to your computer - make sure the prompt on the phone changes to USB from Serial
- On the NAND Toolkit, hit Task 29, follow prompts and wait for the phone to shut down - and hold down Vol-down key while it reboots to get back to the tri-color screen
- On the HD2 NAND toolkit, select cLK Repartition, 220 MB for the partition size and 5 MB for the cache - Sense of Eclipse has 200 MB as the requirement, but having a bit more will do good, in case the /system partition has developed bad blocks.
- Follow the instructions and let the phone reboot normally, you should be in the cLK Fast Boot mode (text screen)
- On the NAND toolkit, choose cLK Install Recovery and click install - select Yes when asked if this is the first time you've installed cLK. This will install ClockWordMod recovery
- When this is done and the phone reboots, hold down the Home key on the phone to boot into clockworkmod and install the ROM, and reboot.
Now those are the normal steps. Here is some to troubleshoot:
- Download QtADB from here: http://qtadb.com/qtadb/QtADB_0.8.1_windows.zip and extract it to some convenient folder
- Download the required binaries from here: http://qtadb.com/qtadb/windows_binaries.zip and extract them to the same folder - make sure both the zip files' contents are in the same folder and not is separate subfolders
- Run QtADB, it might ask you to the path of the adb.exe binary - point it to the same folder you have adb.exe (which is a part of the second link)
- While the phone is booting, the Phone Info tab will tell you the partition sizes and the Logcat link will show the logs - these will work only if the phone's kernel has booted and the ramdisk image has been extracted.
Try this and let me know what happened
Daekin: Phoenix solved my problem, I was not partitioning correctly (my fault).Ok I understand. Well...phoenix already posted quite thourough instructions. Can you tell me more details about your config? Class of your SD? What have you answered during install?
Basically tmous install and eu install are quite similar. Both use 200mb system. Tmous by default do not use ext partition but you can force it.....

@ daekin i have 2 questions
1. is there any chance to get an update of the led notification issue??
i mean its more battery draining when i get my phone wake up every 10-20 minutes to see i get a sms or missed call
2. i see you have now a htc one x do you continue to work on hd2 roms??
1. You mean that led stops blinking after some time? I will see if I can do something with it, but I have read somewhere on xda that it is in kernel. In that case marc is the right person to fix it.
2. Yeah I got the One I've been waiting for.
But I am not making ROMs for it. This will be my daily phone and I am promoting my HD2 to pure developer device.
I will continue to improve Sense of Eclipse for now.

zipaligning has been in my ROM for many versions....in latest one I removed it to speedup boot process. if you want that, you can grab /system/etc/init.d/98zipalign (or other number..) and put it in the same folder in the ROM.
it is...but boot script would me more automatic...
I copy new apks to PC and zipalign them manually on PC using APKmultiTool...and then put it in zip and flash them through CWM recovery with ROM....but you know...I am flashing ROMs too often

From time to time some users can individually experience small issues. Here is the list with workarounds:
- On first boot WiFi can indicate to be on and connected but there will be no internet connection. That is normal in many Gingerbread builds, just reboot and from that moment WiFi should work correctly.
- If you cannot acquire GPS lock, flash GPS_Libraries_vX.X_RPC_for_HD2_Gingerbread_update.zip from HERE.
