OK for all of those still having issues with this you're supposed to FLASH THE MODEM FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then flash the Base rom that Sean made. So STEP 1!!!!!!! flash your modem of choice THEN install the base rom and the update

and i know im in no position to be asking for things, but i'm also in no position to be messing around with someone else's work and with that being said, in the base i noticed the carrier name was in the top left corner, i personally really liked it, is there a way to get it back? can a custom zip update be made to put it back for users wanting it there?

It was lighter on this one also. It was requested by many to make it match and Sean has fixed it to match.
V6 supercharger used to make a noticeable difference, but the rom is so smooth to begin with, I have a hard time seeing the difference. One thing I've noticed is that it feels like Tw UX introduces some lag time when you push the app tray compared to Apex, and maybe V6 supercharger improves that a few milliseconds. I might be just imagining this.
In short, you probably won't notice it, but at least you've done all you can to make it as smooth as possible. As for which settings, I just do all the default or recommended settings.
I myself think so. Go to the V6 page and download the new update 12 file run with script manager and it will take care of the rest pretty much for ya. Pick the automatic transmission setting and I run option number 9. If I have helped you please hit the thanks button.

Look in the systemui.apk/res/drawable-hdpi folder. The icons you're looking for are

Pull them out of one of Sean's 4.2d battery mods, put them in your 4.2e battery mod of choice and flash in cwm.

Man, I know it has to be frustrating to have to deal with posters who don't read the OP instructions like they should/do searches on their issues and then just ***** and moan at you, maybe not realizing that you, like almost every dev at xda, does this because you want to, not because you have to.
Maybe the SR mods need to step it up on weeding out the Gen/Q&A stuff from the dev section, but, in the meantime, don't let it wear too much on you, because there are many more people that are appreciative of what you and other devs do; I, for one, won't run anything other than one of your Sky ICS releases, because it's that damn good. I'd love to run CM9 (having loved CM7 on my Captivate), but official SR development is still pretty much nonexistent; to me, your ROMs are the next best thing and I think that says a lot.
Keep up the good work and don't let the bastards wear you down!

used SKY ICS back on the original leak.. then too many tiny bugs(none i'd bother sean with) were getting to me and i just went back to stock and waited for official ICS. well, i can't wait anymore.
tried installing this release. i'm on CWM touch 5.8.1.3 ... followed OP instructions to a T(4 times mind you) .. get stuck on "samsung" splash.
tried formatting the SD card and reflashing.. stuck on samsung splash.
tried using a different SD card ... stuck on samsung splash.
tried re-ODINing CWM ... stuck on samsung splash.
ODINed a different version of CWM ... stuck on samsung splash.
what in the blue f*** do i need to do to get this to work?
i get an error when wiping the dalvik: E: unknown volume for path [/sd-ext1] on CWM touch 5.8.1.3
on the other one, 5.5.something, i got an error saying it couldn't "makeefts"(something along those lines) while wiping data/factory resetting. sorry for the lack of exact errors.. i'll go back and replicate them if needed. i'm just frustrated at this point.
also, on the 5.5 CWM touch, i wouldn't get the dalvik error, but when i went to install from the sd card, it would just keep looping back to my internal card.. as if it couldn't recognize my external. there was even the external_sd subfolder in the internal card, but when i clicked it, it just looped back to the internal card.

havin issues with calls, when i call they cant hear me until i speaker phone and then they hear me, when im back to regular they cant hear me well sounds like crap anyone else have this issue? or even had? how did you fix??? any help greatly appreciated, thank you very much
When you go to set the wallpaper, choose 'gallery' instead of wallpaper gallery... and its in a folder called wallpapers.
in op it says to do the oneclick in ur situation, did u try that, i would start from stock w/the sammobile tar, if u cant odin the tar, u have other issues, read this for those issues http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1652398

Code:[center] -you must install busybox (use supplied busybox installer) -sounds are there if your not getting them maybe start over i just did and they are there -you can find sounds by extracting ##A update and look in system/media simply place these on your sd card and reboot -most likely if its not working you restored system data from titanium have bad data on your sd card ran out of system memory and need to clear up space need to use the search function -This adds a white line on your status bar(currently defaulted to off team battery bar and enable service to activate) please google battery bar before posting about this..or else -Wallpaper scrolling is wonky but works -busy box isnt included you must install it using supplied installer -fix permissions before updating -no you dont have to flash modem everytime -this rom works so if your having problems its probably you or a bad download<----- this is proven time and time again stop restoring system apps clear app caches for constant fc'ing apps ..settings/applications/your app//cear cache and data -known issues with tw ux -somewidgets fc and will continue to fc the launcher until reset -trying to press add a screen number beyond 8 is also breaking functionality -(8 is ok dont try and do nine) -if tw fails and wont load bc of some widget or disregarding the add a screen warning ..clear tw app cache under settings

END OF STORY) http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1667051 This is where i got the settings icons, the smemo the live wallpapers and some other sh** 4.2e-13ish -removed wallpaper scrolling on tw launcher to damn laggy -i made 6 the default number of screens now(you can add more) -i sped up animations intensly so things are a bit snappier overall -i added the launcher to scrolling init.d script -put sounds in zmods folder just open up sounds after updating and everything should load up or give it a second and come back to it this added about 40 megs of space to your sd 4.2e release 5 -added sgs3 dropbox you now get 50 gigs of storage for 2 years with this restructured the base as a whole i went to add s-memo and realized i had no room so i re did everything i further debloated this piece of crap -fixed up and cleaned some things up -removed sounds completely from this rom -removed a ton of bs apps still left behind -added wifi fix... for completely stubborn wifi connects run this -basically opened up about 50 megs of system rom space added a lot to preinstall so just be patient this isnt necessary you just wont be able to take many more updates that place apks in system/app due to space containment.. 4.2e-12.5 merged them together for new installs of base 4 4.2e-12 this is for you if your on update 11 or 11.5 -rebuilt phone.apk removed worldphone ablities (was causing to much battery drain) -added lte hsdpa network selection (beyond compared and pasted this in)(not my mod just bringing it in and giving credit wheres its due to mohan) without harming recording and keeping theme intact -removed a few bs apps left in system -added rebuilt tw calendar widget -removed annoying in call suppression yet again -unlocked sim events and unlocked sim warnings -still working on network operators - [/Center]
