is their any final version 7 kernel?or only the rev4 kernel? as i think {rev}means for testing or beta correct me if i am wrong, thanks for all ur hard work !!
there's 2 more kernel after v7 rev4 .. which is v7.1.5 and v7.2.6. i released v7.1.5 to donator and contributor to get their opinion and full testing results. v7.2.6 i build for self-test to get kernel log messages. almost the same performance as v7.1.5
damn.. im about to update link for v7.2.6 but got connection lost. guess have to wait until i got connected.

I am using v6.2.5 and its good. I dont understand why v7 is from PLAY ics beta and its for ray.Is there something new that it will be better than v6.2.5
What do you expect from me when i am 14. Just it seems strange to me that the kernel is from 4.1.h.0.4
Let me try to explain....a sentence that starts..."I don't under stand why...." usually means that something was done wrong or for a stupid reason. Think about when you get in trouble at home....for example your parents might ask..."I don't understand why, you stuck your little brother in a mattress and then pushed him down the stairs" Clearly they think you did something really stupid, but if they would just stop and think, they might realize that it was a good idea to stick your brother into that mattress. Even better would be if they tried throwing themselves down the stairs with and with out the mattress...then they wouldn't have to ask....
p.s. I am not responsible for any damage caused by the stairs to you, your family, or their cellphones.
Funny.. so i have thinked aboutit and just doesnt make sense. To have kernel for Play on ray. Anyway i wont ask anyone from now on. Looks like i am realy stupid

sorry...wasn't saying that you were being stupid, wasn't saying not to ask questions....really was saying try v7, see how it works...test it on your favorite game and then ask your questions. Seriously, it takes less then 5 minutes to flash v7....don't have to wipe anything.
I have seen some of your posts in the KA thread....you expect me to believe that you can't think of any reasons why it might be a good idea to take the kernel sources from the Xperia that is a gaming specialist and port it the Ray???? Sorry but I don't drink that one!
Creates virtual block devices called /dev/zramX (X = 0, 1, ...).
Pages written to these disks are compressed and stored in memory itself.
These disks allow very fast I/O and compression provides good amounts of
memory savings. It has several use cases, for example: /tmp storage, use
as swap disks and maybe many more.
See zram.txt for more information.

First Thing First: How To Install Custom Kernel
1) You need to UNLOCK BOOTLOADER using one of these method. I'm NOT responsible of what you've decide. Please follow instruction carefully.
-> S1tool
-> Sony Mobile - Unlock Bootloader
2) Get this awesome tool called Flashtool and install. Dont forget to install usb drivers from "Drivers" folder too.
3) I assume you have download one of my kernel. Get into Fastboot mode. How? Do i have to repeat how? Press "Volume Up" while connecting your USB cable. you'll see Blue led.
4) Click "Flash" button on Flashtool, then select Fastboot Mode.
5) Choose "Select Kernel to Flash" and find your saved kernel. I'm not gonna find it for you.
6) Once completed, reboot device into system
Those version below was a final version xKernel for Xperia Ray. I might on a new
device next week due someone already booked my ray. Ive planned to give the
last version using 4.1.B.0.587 but unfortunately source published by Sony was
corrupted. Sorry guys, i cant afford to keep my ray. This is it.
Thank you for using my kernel.
