What do you expect from me when i am 14. Just it seems strange to me that the kernel is from 4.1.h.0.4
Let me try to explain....a sentence that starts..."I don't under stand why...." usually means that something was done wrong or for a stupid reason. Think about when you get in trouble at home....for example your parents might ask..."I don't understand why, you stuck your little brother in a mattress and then pushed him down the stairs" Clearly they think you did something really stupid, but if they would just stop and think, they might realize that it was a good idea to stick your brother into that mattress. Even better would be if they tried throwing themselves down the stairs with and with out the mattress...then they wouldn't have to ask....
p.s. I am not responsible for any damage caused by the stairs to you, your family, or their cellphones.

sorry...wasn't saying that you were being stupid, wasn't saying not to ask questions....really was saying try v7, see how it works...test it on your favorite game and then ask your questions. Seriously, it takes less then 5 minutes to flash v7....don't have to wipe anything.
I have seen some of your posts in the KA thread....you expect me to believe that you can't think of any reasons why it might be a good idea to take the kernel sources from the Xperia that is a gaming specialist and port it the Ray???? Sorry but I don't drink that one!

@MrTapa: The latest kernel is built on Xperia Play Beta kernel. It might be better because some of the following:
1. Sony was trying hard to put ICS into Xperia Ray (which is canned by now) but as you can see, with priority was set on gaming, you can be sure that the kernel is more optimized for gaming. Think of it like how Nvidia created 2 different GPU from single chip, GeForce and Tesla, it's all about the driver (at least back then).
2. Sony's hardware platform across 2011 lineup is similar, so no problem by porting one kernel to the other.
@sirkay: mate, i want to ask you a question, i've seen in setXperia app, that the program can create swap file in /cache partition. with ZRAM, does it really resides in RAM? Well, with my experiences last time, ZRam sometimes can kill the performance. Haven't got issue with swap file stored in /cache partition though, but not sure if it will stay like that.

ZRAM depends on xvmalloc (memory allocator) and LZO (compress format). the patch has seperated between memory allocator and zram driver instead of compiled together before.
@hansip i noticed that, previously after zram activated phone become slow even zram disk populated. luckily i found patch, dig from show-p git. to make it clear here i post zram Help file

For those who using my kernel (ics beta kernel source build) may have some low performance in Official ICS (.562 FW). Trick to get better graphic performance :
1. Goto to Adreno Driver Thread by arcatarc
2. Download GpuDriverICS_4.1.A.0.562.zip and put in your SD
3. Flash OriginalAdrenoICSSony_4.1.A.0.562.zip using CWM.
4. Booting up
5. Enjoy some graphic improvement!
