wonderful app; thanks very much indeed.

tiny niggle: in Settings - About, you don't mention the current version. I know that it's in the adjacent Settings - Changelog, but people often expect to also see it in About.

@mdalacu: thx, that i mean..

@ng93: Drowable widget sounds nice but what happens if you just swipe over the screen.. will it draw a line on the widget to?? bad thing if switching homescreens..

posible for two seperat widgets..

1. a shortcut direkt to the showed note (just like mdalacu say).. and a
2. drawable..

?? :p :D

so everyone can use by his owen..

Wow really nice App. I like it.

Maybe some feature requests ;)

1. I selected "Finger -> Nothing" in Settings. But when touching screen with my palm while writing the SPen stops working until i lift my hand up. A full ignore of finger touch would be awesome.

2. I like the shape recognition in S-Note app. Something similar would be great.

3. A checkbox-like element one can toggle on/off in the note

Just some ideas.

Great app, works for me better than papyrus and for quick notes better than Lecture Notes.

The ability to zoom and scroll would make detailed site sketches a snap.

My primary use for this type of app is to take aerial images during site inspections and then use an app like memo to label features or concerns.

1. Are you using CM9? As theres a bug in the way CM9 recognises the S-Pen which causes this. I've temporarily switched to stock ICS and it's works fine.

2/3. I like those ideas, not sure when i'll have time to implement them though (the todo list is already mahoosive).

Pinch to zoom and two finger scrolling should work.

It's coming in the beta (should be the next update).

Brilliant app but how do i get it so the white background stays? I personally feel an option to pick background colour would be a good addition.. help is appreciated thank you

Discovered that the finger operation cannot be set to none for them to work:)

Any way to change this, right now when pinching to zoom or scrolling i get some random writing or erasing (depending what the finger is set to)?

Great app. Really appreciate the custom offset options as left handed spen has always seemed off a bit in ics. Now I can tweak it so it's spot on.

Warning to users upgrading from v0.1 or v0.2

Unlike previous versions, v0.4 (and to a lesser extent v0.3) reserves folders and files beginning with a full stop for system use. If you have made any folders which begin with a full stop you will need to manually edit their name using a file manager.

Known issues

Switching from portrait to landscape or vice versa causes the canvas to be reset, deleting any unsaved changes. UPDATE: this has been fixed in v0.4.

The image resizing handles (blue box) are positioned to high, however image resizing still works, you just need to drag the corners of the image, not the corners off the blue box.

    Memo Pro is no longer available

    I am very grateful to everyone who purchased Memo Pro, however I have now taken it off the Play Store and it will not be receiving any updates. This is due to Memo now using the GPLv3 license. I recommend everyone using Memo Pro switches over to Memo.

    Memo v0.6.2 is out

    This is just a minor release, I've attached the APK to this post, or alternatively you can download it from the Play Store (link).

    Release Candidate!

    The release candidate (v0.7) is ready, however there's a lot that's changed in this version and I need help testing it. It's a full ground up re-write, and as such is more "experimental" than the previous beta. For this reason it won't be put on the play store.

    The main potential problem area is that it stores memos in a completely different way than the beta and will update the storage directory on first run.I recommend any testers to backup the storage directory before installing this. It's usually located at /sdcard/Memo.

    Also I've redone the language files, so this version is only available in english. If anyone wants to translate it i've attached the files to this post, and you can upload the translations here or email them to me at work@nathangarside.com (and if you want also include your real name so I can credit you).

    Assuming it all works as planned v1.0 should be up at the weekend :D.
