Battery perpetually charging?
Hello everybody!
Loving the latest release of OpenSensation. The Sweep2Wake is brilliantly geeky. Love it.
Has anyone else had any problems with their Sensation thinking the battery is always charging even when it's completely unplugged? I first noticed mine doing it a couple of times a few months ago, but it was very intermitten and could be fixed simply by plugging it in and unplugging it again.
Unfortunately, it's now it's doing it pretty much all the time and no matter how many times I plug it in and unplug it, it still thinks it's charging. Only rebooting will snap it out of this state. The most annoying part about it is that it never gives me the low battery notifications, presumably because it thinks it's already charging, and will simply switch off when it runs out of juice.
I figure it's much more likely to be a hardware problem ( time to revert and dig out the receipt? ), but just want to ask the forum if anyone has had the problem while running OpenSensation or any other CM9 ROM and if they've managed to fix it? Maybe apply some contact cleaner in the micro-USB socket?
Thanks.
